DICE has announced a new in-game event for its Battlefield 2042 shooter. The event, called Future Strike, includes a time-limited mode and themed cosmetics.
The event kicks off on May 28 and will run until June 11. The event will add a new mode to the game with 4v4 and 8v8 formats depending on the map. This is a mode similar to Search and Destroy from Call of Duty, where you must capture an object or destroy the enemy team. The first team to win 6 rounds wins. Each round lasts 90 seconds, and a squad can only have one specialist of a certain type. In addition, teams can see their opponent's lineup.
Battlefield 2042 is available on PC and consoles of both generations. Season 7 was the last season for the shooter in terms of content support.
