At the Warhammer Skulls Showcase event, the developers presented the game's trailer and revealed some details. In Warhammer 40,000: Mechanicus 2 players will be able to play two different story campaigns - for Adeptus Mechanicus and Necrons. Players will be given the opportunity to see the same story from different perspectives.
Several different endings are promised, but to discover the “true” ending you must complete missions for both sides of the conflict. The developers promise unique leaders with new development mechanics and a shelter system. Battles will be more dynamic and complex compared to the first part. Players will have to capture territories, build outposts and defend their lands from enemies. The plot of the sequel was written by writer Ben Counter, the author of various books on the Warhammer 40,000 universe. Warhammer 40,000: Mechanicus 2 will be available on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S with Russian-language localization. The release date of the game is still unknown.
The action game also received a content update.
