Despite E3 being canceled, players will have something to look forward to in the summer of 2024. And it's all about to begin very soon!

A new era of summer game shows is beginning. The E3 show has faded into history, and 2024 will be a watershed moment when the legacy of this legendary event will be passed on to its successors. We have prepared for you a handy schedule of all major and minor presentations, including links to the broadcasts.

All events are presented in chronological order from June 1 to August 31. The times are given in Moscow time.

June 4 - INDIE3 2024

What it is. A presentation of indie games.

What to expect? Over 180 games from independent developers, including Neko Odyssey. There will be new projects as well as updates to already released games.

When? June 4 at 18:00.

June 4 - OTK Games Expo 2024

What is it? A show of popular bloggers and streamers.

What to expect. Based on past experience - lots of indie games and merch advertising. The specific list of entertainment has not been revealed yet.

When? June 4 at 10:00 p.m.

June 6 - Guerilla Collective 2024.

What it is. An indie game show not affiliated with Guerrilla Games.

What to expect. Announcements, trailers, gameplay premieres, and more. However, as before, don't expect any big news.

When? June 6 at 20:00.

June 8 - Summer Game Fest 2024 Showcase

What is it? The main game show of the summer, organized by Geoff Keighley, traditionally pleasing with the loudest announcements.

What to expect? Trailers, gameplay, developer appearances and announcements of new projects.

Already confirmed:

2K will present a novelty from one of its biggest and favorite franchises.

Batman: Arkham Shadow for VR.

New Delta Force: Hawk Ops trailer.

ATLUS staff will talk about Metaphor: ReFantazio.

Something new for Palworld.

Remedy has hinted at its involvement, but no specifics.

When. On the night of June 7-8 at 00:00.

June 8 - Day of the Devs (Summer Game Fest)

What it is. A presentation of indie and mid-budget games organized by Double Fine Productions and iam8bit as part of the Keeley Festival.

What to expect. The best projects of the indie scene and the most promising games from small studios.

When. June 8 at 01:30.

June 8 - Future of Play Direct Season 5 (SGF)

What it is. A show from the indie developer movement with announcements, trailers, and Melios the Android vituber as host.

What to expect. Exclusive announcements from the creators of games like Battle Chef Brigade, Parkitect, The Big Con, and Unsighted. Also plenty of announcements from other independent studios.

When. June 8 at 6 p.m.

Where? YouTube, Twitch.

June 8 - Devolver Digital

What is it? Traditionally the most eccentric presentation of the summer. This year, the organizers promise a “completely normal broadcast”, which, of course, will not do without surprises.

What to expect? News about the gopota action game Anger Foot, glass skateboarding Skate Story, an add-on for Katana ZERO, a game about Ivan Loev Baby Steps, a multi-genre adventure The Plucky Squire and Neva, the next story from the creators of Gris.

When. June 8 at 03:00.

June 8 - Future Games Show: Summer Showcase 2024

What it is. A presentation from GamesRadar, aiming to go beyond the usual event. This year, the organizers promise a new level.

What to expect? The show will be hosted by well-known voice actors Roger Clark (voice of Arthur Morgan from Red Dead Redemption 2) and Britt Baron (voice of Tifa Lockhart from Final Fantasy VII Rebirth). Over 40 games will be shown, including:

June 9 - Xbox Games Showcase 2024 (SGF)

What it is. Microsoft continues its tradition of pairing conferences by pairing the Xbox showcase with the Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 presentation.

What to expect. Games from Microsoft studios including Activision, Blizzard, Bethesda and Xbox Game Studios, as well as projects from third-party developers. According to rumors, you can expect:

  • A new Gears of War
  • Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024
  • Avowed
  • Indiana Jones and the Great Circle
  • Shattered Space add-on for Starfield
  • State of Decay 3

June 9 - PC Gaming Show 2024

What it is. PC Gamer's tenth PC Gaming presentation.

What to expect. In honor of the anniversary, exclusive announcements and world premieres are promised. Trailers, developer interviews and over 50 games.

June 10 - Ubisoft Forward

What it is. A presentation from Ubisoft focused on the company's new and current projects.

What to expect. No confirmed list of games, but we can expect:

  • A new Assassin's Creed Shadows trailer
  • A story add-on for Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown
  • Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time remake
  • Splinter Cell Remake
  • Star Wars Outlaws
  • Something from The Division franchise
  • A new Far Cry
  • Just Dance

June - Nintendo Direct

What it is. A presentation from Nintendo dedicated to the company's games.

What to expect. Games for Nintendo Switch. No news on the next console, despite rumors of a Switch 2 devkit.

When. Date and time have yet to be announced.

August 2 - THQ Nordic Digital Showcase 2024

What it is. A presentation from publisher THQ Nordic.

What to expect. The Gothic remake and the announced Titan Quest II will be shown. There will also be news about the publisher's other projects.

When? August 2 at 22:00.

Where? YouTube, Twitch and Steam.

August 20 - gamescom Opening Night Live

What it is. One of the industry's largest offline trade shows kicks off with an opening ceremony streamed online.

What to expect. The detailed program of the exhibition has not been announced yet. The offline part will take place from August 21 to 25.
