The house at 671 North Lincoln Avenue made famous by the movie Home Alone is up for sale. This is the first time the house has changed owners since 2012.
Built in 1921, the house has changed owners twice: once in the '80s, before the movie came out, and a second time in 2012, when it sold for $1.585 million. The current owners want $5.25 million for it.
The real estate agency provided a sneak peek inside the home. Thanks to a virtual tour, fans of the movie can see how the 950-foot home has changed. However, it's important to note that not all of the sets from the movie were part of this house. Some scenes were filmed in other locations. However, the kitchen, attic, basement, staircase, and a number of other rooms did appear in the movie.
Instead of a monster radiator from the basement, future owners will be able to enjoy a home theater where they can revisit Home Alone. The basement also features a basketball court.
An incredible success for the studio's debut project.
In short, the company is aware of the problem and is solving it.
