28 Years Later: Filming on the sequel to the cult movie has begun!

Twenty-two years after the release of the original 28 Days Later, filming has started today on the long-awaited sequel, 28 Years Later. The movie is set in the north of the UK, in Northumberland.

This is the first part of the trilogy, which promises to continue the story that began in 2002. For its creation are responsible for the legendary authors of the original tape, Danny Boyle and Alex Garland, as well as Cillian Murphy, who acted as one of the producers.

While the details of the plot are kept secret, but it is known that the director of the picture will be Danny Boyle, and the screenwriter - Alex Garland. In the main roles, viewers will see such stars as Jodie Comer, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Rafe Fiennes and Cillian Murphy.

The film is scheduled to premiere on June 20, 2025.
