Since the announcement of SteamWorld Heist 2 a couple months ago, the game has been looking more and more enticing. Thunderful continues to share information about it, and now we can enjoy a new extended gameplay trailer.
The video is over ten minutes long and showcases various aspects of the game, from naval navigation and combat to the turn-based tactics that fans of the first installment are already familiar with. The trailer also reveals information about ship and character upgrades, side quests, bounty hunting, exploration, difficulty options including new custom settings, and more.
SteamWorld Heist 2 will be released on August 8 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
The console release is still a long way off.

It looks like the series is about to be revived.
