Frost Giant studio, founded by former Blizzard employees, has announced its new project — conditionally free-to-play strategy game Stormgate. In the trailer the developers showed gameplay inspired by such hits as Warcraft 3 and StarCraft 2.
One of the key features of Stormgate will be the third game faction — Celestial Armada (Celestial Armada), which will fight against Infernals and Vanguard. According to the developers, testers highly appreciated the originality of this faction in the RTS genre.
Stormgate will be released in Steam early access in 2024. Players who purchased one of the three early access kits will have the opportunity to try out the project as early as July 30, 2024. At the same time, the progress made in two weeks will continue after the official release.
This is an action movie based on Game of Thrones.
Without prior announcement, Warcraft and Warcraft 2 have been re-released on Battle.net, featuring graphical enhancements.
