Weta Workshop, known for its work on special effects and props for the Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit film trilogies, has unveiled a new trailer for its upcoming project Tales of the Shire: A The Lord of the Rings Game. The game will immerse players in the daily life of the inhabitants of the village of Bywater, located in the country of the Shire.
Gamers will be able to create their own character and take part in various activities such as gardening, fishing, trading with neighbors and organizing feasts. Moreover, in the game you can meet familiar characters from the franchise, including the magician Gandalf.
Tales of the Shire: A The Lord of the Rings Game is scheduled for release in the second half of 2024 on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch platforms
