The announcement of the Russian horror strategy Anoxia Station has been released

Russian indie developer Yakov Bov, known for his previous horror games DOM RUSALOK and Loretta, has announced a new strategy game in the horror genre called Anoxia Station. The game will take place in an alternate past on Earth, where the world is almost completely destroyed by the eruption of a supervolcano.

In 1988, miners called the Terranauts discover an abandoned mining complex, where they find evidence of large deposits of crude oil. Now they must get to this deposit at any cost, since the future of the remaining people depends on it.

Terranauts will face many dangers, such as earthquakes, high pressure, temperature, radiation and creepy inhabitants of the subsurface. The player will be able to recruit representatives from different countries into his team - the USSR, USA, East Germany, Japan and others.

The choice of leader and brigade composition will influence the course of the game. In a team, the consequences of past conflicts are inevitable, and each team member will pursue their own goals. Moreover, each terranaut will be of great importance, since the injury or death of any worker will affect the results of the entire expedition.

Anoxia Station will be released on PC in 2025. The game is being developed by Yakov Butuzov and his friend Daria Vodianaya.
