In an interview with Windows Central, creative director Carrie Patel and gameplay director Gabe Paramo from Obsidian Entertainment talked about working on the main and side missions for Avowed.
The developers emphasized that the game will offer many meaningful choices that players will be able to make not only as part of the main quests, but also in side missions, as well as in small moments that can be easily missed.
According to Patel, Obsidian pays the same close attention to secondary content as it does to the main storylines. The studio strives to make sure that everything they put into the game is fun for players. Some assignments will be larger, others shorter, but all will be unique and will not be a copy-and-paste project. Each quest involves the player in the world of Avowed and gives the opportunity to play their own character.
Although the exact release date for Avowed has not yet been confirmed, rumors suggest that the game could release on November 12, 2024 on PC and Xbox Series X/S.
The developers thanked the fans: "Thank you all for your support. Together, we have reached this important milestone. See you in the vastness of Thedas on October 31st!"
On Metacritic, the film received a score of 46 out of 100 and 5.3 out of 10, which also indicates a cool reception.
There is no need to pay anything for GamesVoice creation.
