2K is working on an unannounced remake
It looks like 2K is working on an unannounced remake. According to the profile of 3D artist Brett Shoop, he has been working on this project since 2022. His profile also mentions the new Mafia title and the upcoming BioShock, as well as the canceled Supermassive Games game Erebus.
It's unclear what kind of remake 2K Games is preparing. Journalists suggested that this could be a re-release of the shooter Spec Ops: The Line, released in 2012. This game gained cult status due to its story, but was removed from online stores in early 2024.
In addition, in July 2024, it became known that the Cloud Chamber studio was looking for specialists to work on a new part of the BioShock series, including the combat system and story. This may not be the only project in this franchise, given that almost 10 years have passed since the release of the remaster of the trilogy, and many players are waiting for a remake of the original BioShock.
The developers thanked the fans: "Thank you all for your support. Together, we have reached this important milestone. See you in the vastness of Thedas on October 31st!"
On Metacritic, the film received a score of 46 out of 100 and 5.3 out of 10, which also indicates a cool reception.
There is no need to pay anything for GamesVoice creation.
