KRAFTON Inc. announced that PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS is celebrating the end of summer with a "Free Play Week" during which PC owners can try out the full game without a purchase . The promotion will last until August 16 on Steam.
Newcomers will have full access to the game and will be able to experience the latest updates and content releases, including:
- All Featured Maps - All maps will be available to players during Free Play Week, including the recently released 8x8 Taego Map in South Korea. Other maps in the current Normal Map rotation include Erangel, Miramar, Sanhok, Vikendi, and Karakin.
- Survival: Zombies - With PUBG LABS, players can team up and try to survive 10 stages of various waves of zombies. Earn Survival Coins and buy more powerful equipment to increase your chances of survival.
- BLACKPINK x PUBG : BATTLEGROUNDS - PUBG : BATTLEGROUNDS will feature a variety of BLACKPINK themed maps to celebrate the collaboration. These include building decals, aircraft banners, and themed changes to Tier 3 Supply Crates and Helmets. Some BLACKPINK-themed in-game items are also available for purchase.
- Survivor Pass: Taego - Players can purchase this in-game pass and level it up to earn various in-game items, including exclusive character and weapon skins.
- Global Account Event - Be sure to create a global account and link to Steam during Free Play Week to receive the Traditional Glasses (Round) exclusive in-game item. Creating a Global Account during the Free Play Week will also allow you to keep all stats, items earned in the game, and Survivor Pass progress after the Free Play Week ends.
