The creators of the game Warframe demonstrated 17 minutes of gameplay from their new development — Soulframe. Open beta testing of the fantasy action is scheduled for autumn 2024.
Digital Extremes released a 17-minute gameplay video for their new game Soulframe, which is a fantasy MMO action game. In the video, you can see a variety of locations, the main character's abilities, battles with opponents and several cutscenes, including story ones.
Before the start of the adventure, players will be able to customize the appearance of the main character's mother. The developers noted that this is only one of the stages of character customization, but details about other stages have not yet been disclosed.
Soulframe will have a large open world with procedurally generated locations. This is explained by the mythology of the game: due to movement underground, the network of local caves is constantly changing.

The game was announced in 2022 and will be distributed on a free-to-play basis. The exact release date is still unknown, but the developers plan to hold open beta testing in the fall of 2024.
When creating Soulframe, the authors were inspired by the works of Studio Ghibli, in particular the film "Princess Mononoke" by director Hayao Miyazaki. The events of the game unfold in a "fantasy reflection" of the Warframe universe.
There is little information, so the shooter could be based on the StarCraft, Warcraft universe, or a completely new IP.
