The role-playing action game Phantom Blade Zero will be released no earlier than autumn 2026, reported popular foreign YouTube blogger JorRaptor. He learned these dates from the developers during his visit to the Summer Game Fest, where he was able to try out the demo version of the game.
This news disappointed some gamers, but most consider these dates realistic. Some suggest that the release may be postponed until 2027.
JorRaptor also revealed several details about the game. Completing Phantom Blade Zero will take 30-40 hours, and the game will have about 30 types of weapons, some of which can be obtained by defeating bosses.
Phantom Blade Zero is being developed on the Unreal Engine 5 and will be released on PC and PlayStation 5. Journalists have previously shown the gameplay of the demo version.
The game's plot tells the story of Soul, an assassin who is accused of killing the head of the Order. While escaping from the organization's henchmen, Soul is mortally wounded, but is saved by a mysterious healer. He gives the hero a medicine that lasts only 66 days. During this time, Soul must find the real killer.
