The creators of the new shooter Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 promised players to abandon the implementation of an aggressive monetization system.
Moreover, according to the former director of id Softwear Tim Willits, the game will not have micropayments or donations at all. That is, the developers plan to provide all additional content to players for free. However, on the game's Steam page, the project has a lot of editions that include add-ons. And they, apparently, are purchased for a separate fee.
In general, it is clear that nothing is clear. It will become clearer closer to the release, scheduled for September 9.
The studio has acknowledged several failures in the past.
The project is multiplayer and free.
The company will undertake the liquidation of a legal entity within the country.
