Bungie will no longer release annual updates for Destiny 2

Bungie Studios has decided to revise its strategy for releasing annual updates for its shooter Destiny 2.

Instead of one-time major patches, the company will release two updates during the year. So far, two patches are known to be released during 2025. They will add fresh content to the game, and the developers themselves will see how the audience will accept such innovations.

We expect more details about the patches next year.

Destiny 2 is available on PC and consoles.
