The Dexter prequel, Dexter Original Sin, will premiere on December 13, 2024. The release date was announced in the first teaser released some time ago.

It is supposed to help viewers better feel the era in which the events take place. Dexter Original Sin takes place in 1991. The series will tell the story of how Dexter Morgan accepted the Code created by his policeman father and turned into a cold-blooded serial killer.
The main roles are played by Patrick Gibson (Dexter Morgan), Christian Slater (Harry Morgan), and Molly Brown (Deborah Morgan). Michael C. Hall, who played Dexter in the original series, will voice the character's internal monologue.
