A trailer for the action game Faith of Danschant: Hereafter has appeared on the official IGN YouTube channel. The 12-minute gameplay video clearly shows the similarity of the game with the famous Sony-exclusive God of War series. In addition, there are some aspects that point to the last parts of Castelvania.
However, for sure fans of different Souls-like and action games based on various mythologies will find other similar games. Either way, Faith of Danschant: Hereafter looks pretty fresh, as you can see in the trailer below:
The action is developed by Beijing Joyfun, and uses the Unreal Engine for this, as well as all available knowledge of Chinese mythology. The game is planned to be released on PC and consoles of the current generation, but the release date is still silent.
The project is codenamed Half-Life X.
