Avowed developers explain their reluctance to add romances to the game

The creators of the new RPG Avowed explained their reluctance to add romance to the game.

According to representatives of the Obsidian studio, it would be too labor-intensive for the team, which already has quite a lot to worry about. By adding romance, the developers would have to implement a lot of other content into the project to reveal the characters' relationships. They can do this without romantic lines, and the release would have to be significantly delayed due to the additional volume of tasks.

For now, Avowed is scheduled to be released on February 18, 2025.
