The developers of the survival game Project Zomboid have released a massive patch Build 42, which the team has been working on for several years.
Here are the main changes in the patch:
Three new locations: Echo Creek, Irvington and Brandenburg
Reworked buildings with randomly generated basements and high-rises
Updated combat system with muscle fatigue with frequent attacks and improved shooting
Expanded farming with livestock (cows, pigs, sheep, chickens)
Hunting for wild animals (deer, rats, rabbits)
Reworked fishing system with more active gameplay
New crafting system with unlockable recipes
Improved interface with support for different resolutions
Updated lighting and dynamic music
Character voice acting with voice timbre settings
As the developers noted, an unstable version of the patch has been released so far. The team is taking player feedback and has started working on fixing bugs.
