Edition Redanian Intellegence reports that one of the central characters of the prequel series "The Witcher" The Witcher Blood Origin will be a bard named Buttercup. According to the portal, the character will take the role of a narrator, who will tell the viewer the backstory of the events shown in the main Netflix project.
The role of Dandelion, as in the original show, will be played by actor Joey Batey. Everything will begin with a scene in a tavern, in which Dandelion will share with visitors the details of how the first witchers appeared in their world. As in all his other works, the bard will accompany the story with a fair amount of drama and personal experiences of the characters (even if they, in fact, did not experience these experiences).
There is no exact release date for The Witcher Blood Origin yet, the project is scheduled for release in 2022.
