Tom Henderson, who is a well-known insider, released a fresh video in which he said that EA management is extremely dissatisfied with all the performance of the Battlefield 2042 shooter. Due to the failed release, the DICE studio may move into the category of support companies, and the publisher will entrust the further development of the series to Ripple Effect Studios.
In the video, the author points out that the recent announcement of three games in the Star Wars universe at once, which are being developed by the Respawn Entertainment team, was not accidental. Electronic Arts wants to reduce the amount of mention of the failed shooter in conversations and focus the attention of players and investors on other games. Of course, no one plans to forget about the Battlefield series, but serious changes may await it in the future.
As with all other unconfirmed information, these words of Henderson should also be treated as rumors.
