Naughty Dog doesn't rule out Uncharted 5

'Never Say Never': Two Uncharted Leaders Rule Nothing Out
Naughty Dog doesn't rule out Uncharted 5

Studio Naughty Dog, who created all the games in the series, does not exclude that someday Uncharted 5 will be released.

In an interview with GamesRadar+ earlier this week regarding the upcoming release of Uncharted: The Legacy Collection , company executives Kurt Margenau and Sean Escaig commented on the possibility of Uncharted returning in the form of the next numbered part.

Uncharted: The Lost Legacy Creative Director Escaig said:

I think it's safe to say that you should never say never. Yes. Uncharted is our favorite franchise. I love her, Kurt loves her. This is a world we would like to see even more of. I speak about it with confidence.

Rumor has it that a new Uncharted is already in development, but it's being worked on by a different studio (not Naughty Dog). Last April, a report claimed that Bend Studio, developer of Days Gone, was working on a new game in the franchise, but then a request was made (and approved) to withdraw from the project. And now it is not known whether any other studio continued work on the new Uncharted or it was completely canceled.

What we do know is that Uncharted: The Legacy Collection is coming to PS5 today, and the Collector's Edition will make its way to PC by the end of the year. It includes Uncharted 4: A Thief's End and The Lost Legacy.
