The pre-production of the third season of The Witcher has begun, and in the latest posts, the creators of the popular Netflix TV show are hinting at the appearance of new locations and even greater scope.
According to Redanian Intelligence , executive producer Steve Gaub is currently exploring possible territories for new locations for the third season of The Witcher. Among the many landscapes and places he discovered on his journey, there are large forested areas and an eerie tunnel. Each of these places can become a starting point for Geralt and Ciri, and viewers will surely be able to visit some new, previously unseen places on the Continent.

The Witcher showrunner Lauren S. Hissrich put in her two cents when she posted a photo of her moving along a path in London. There is no set shooting schedule yet, but finding locations is usually the first step in preparation, so the words “Camera! Motor!" may be heard in a few months.

Gaub also shared an image of one of Season 3's interiors and captioned the post, "Season 3 definitely won't get any smaller."
In December 2021, Hissrich told TechRadar that "the creative process is really just starting now."
We've got the scripts, we're ready to bring back the directors, the actors, then we'll start digging deeper, thinking, doing everything to create the perfect season.
We remind you that the second season of The Witcher ended with Geralt, Ciri and Yennefer becoming the strangest surrogate family on the entire Continent, living in Kaer Morhen. Now only the lazy do not hunt for Ciri. They try to protect the girl from Redania, Nilfgaard, the Wild Hunt and ... her own father. It's hard to imagine what needs to be done in the third season to increase the scale of what is happening.
