An entry appeared on the Naugty Dog Info Twitter account, indicating that in The Last of Us series, based on the game universe of the same name, the zombie apocalypse will unfold 10 years earlier than expected. Instead of 2033, the authors decided to show us the events of the year 2023, and it is not yet known how this will affect the plot and whether it will affect at all.
Some users in the comments note that within the framework of the general setting, when civilization was almost destroyed 20 years after the cataclysm, plus or minus a dozen years will not play a special role. As proof of this, we are given a photo from the filming, which shows the date of the lecture at the university some time before the apocalypse.
