Bungie has published a massive article on the crafting system in Destiny 2. This mechanic will appear in the game with the release of The Witch Queen update, allowing players to create a lot of interesting weapons.
Your crafting career will begin with a special mission that sends a Guardian to the Enclave. This is a special place where weapons are forged on a special machine, where we will supply them with additional effects from perks. At first, perks will drop randomly, but by fulfilling a certain requirement for each of them, we can then choose these effects when creating the following items.
Perks can be changed, but for crafting you will need analogues of blueprints and a certain amount of resources. They are obtained by completing tasks and closing the usual in-game activities. At the start of the update, players will be able to use 14 perks, but then their number will expand.
The release of the expansion will take place on February 22.
