The release of the new Zelda, Breath of the Wild 2, is still scheduled for 2022

Game release window remains unchanged in Nintendo's latest financial report
The release of the new Zelda, Breath of the Wild 2, is still scheduled for 2022

According to Nintendo's recently released financial report, Breath of the Wild 2 is still being prepared for a 2022 release.

At yesterday's investor presentation, Nintendo showed off a list with a release schedule for its upcoming titles. In addition to the confirmed dates for Kirby and the Forgotten Land, Triangle Strategy, and Pokemon Legends Arceus, other games are on the list.

So, Advance Wars 1 + 2 may come out in the spring, and in 2022, in general, they plan to launch Splatoon 3, Bayonetta 3, Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope and, perhaps, the most anticipated game, “the sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild ".

Nintendo first talked about the game's supposed release in 2022 last summer, and in December, IGN boss Pier Schneider hinted that the project should be released in November 2022, stressing that the absence of the game at The Game Awards 2021 should not be a cause for concern.

In June 2021, Nintendo stated that the official title of the game is being kept under wraps to prevent rumors and leaks.
