Order of Souls in Sea of Thieves: how to increase reputation (quests)

The Order of Souls is a mysterious faction found at every outpost. By taking their quests, you will be forced to travel between many islands, kill skeleton captains and bring back their cursed skulls. This is one of the most interesting parts of the Sea of Thieves PvE system. Below we talk about everything related to the Order of Souls.

To face the Skeleton Captain, you need to find the Skeleton Forts. To do this, watch out for cloud skulls appearing in the sky. Such skulls indicate the location of the fort! There you will have to fight off several enemy waves before your main opponent appears - the captain. These are all Sea of Thieves raids.

How to earn reputation with the Order of Souls

The best way to gain reputation with the Order of Souls is to go sailing at their request. When you enter the game, you find yourself on civilian islands. Look for the banner of the Order of Souls there - a white flag on a purple background. Chat with a representative of the faction. Take the task (the first one is free) and go to your ship. Put the taken item on the captain's table, vote for it, and then find the island to sail to.

Once you reach the island, use the spyglass to locate the skeletons. If you are walkingthen listen to their hoarse moans. You need to defeat several waves of skeletons, after which the captain will appear. This is your main goal. When he dies a second time, take his skull and take it to the ship. Return to the outpost and sell the skull to the Order of Souls. Any representative will do! This doesn't have to be the person you spoke to when you took the quest. Please note that the captain's skull can be obtained by killing him in the skeleton fort.

Once you start working with the Order of Souls, you will not be able to receive their exclusive rewards. All their quests will bring relatively small portions of gold. As soon as you increase your reputation to level 5, you can purchase an upgrade that unlocks new prizes and improves the quality of tasks. From now on, you will have to pay for quests - the price increases with each purchase, but the potential reward will be many times better.

You can complete these quests on your own, but it will be much easier to do this in a team with other players.

How to Defeat Skeletons: Tips

Do not rush to waste ammo and shoot in the hope of hitting. Instead, kill the skeletons with a knife, not forgetting the opportunity to strike with a powerful blow. Also collect bananas. Do this before every fight. They will allow you to heal.

Beware of skeletons with weapons. They can use the same weapons as live pirates. Don't try to run around them. The best defense against bullets: cover. Break the line of sight and attack only at the right moment. Remember that every third hit on a regular skeleton will interrupt its shooting.

Use the ship. Swim as close to the island as possible, use cannons and a sniper rifle to kill the skeletons from a safe distance.

Special skeletons have their own vulnerabilities. Pump up the Order of Souls, as a result of which you will face more dangerous forms of enemies in battles. Take advantage of their weaknesses. Gold skeletons are powerful terminators, but they will rust as soon as they get wet. Either splash them with water from a bucket, or fight in shallow water. Dark skeletons are endowed with magical powers, so you need to fight them in daylight (or by lighting with your lantern). Overgrown skeletons with plants sticking out of their chests are much stronger in water, so keep them away from pools and other water sources.

Rewards for leveling up the Order of Souls

Each trading company in the game has its own unique rewards. They can only be obtained by those whom the company respects. Remember that the rewards and available missions of the Order??ush do not depend on your relationship level. You will need to buy upgrades! Rewards for low and medium Order of Soul reputations include fancy mugs and lanterns.

The maximum reputation level with the Order of Souls is 50. To become a Pirate Legend, you must level up to level 50 with all three factions.
