Detailed walkthrough of Elex

We bring to your attention a detailed walkthrough of the sci-fi game Elex, inspired by the famous Gothic series.

Prologue. survive

After the introductory video, move forward on the yellow marker marked on your radar in the upper right corner of the screen. You can explore the location and collect herbs scattered around it. To collect items, click LMB.

ADVICE! It is very important to understand from the very beginning of the game that you can collect something only with hidden weapons. Now the pipe is available to you, which is inserted into the quick access window. Click on "1" to get/hide the pipe.

Defeat the first opponent, the giant rat, using light attacks (LMB) and heavy attacks (E). Having done this, enter the room and collect the loot. Useful items drop from each killed giant or simple rat. By the way, if you do not enter the building, but go upstairs through the destroyed fence and climb two brick ones, you can find a barrel with an amulet - your first piece of equipment.

Exit through the other door of the building to start the first chapter.

Chapter 1. The Hunt Begins

revenge campaign

Take the elevator down and get to the berserk. Get to know the first buddy and then follow him or refuse. If you do not want to lose the plot direction, then agree. Along the way, you can look into the ruins. If you agree, you will have to fight there pretty much, search the dead clerics and find the weapons of the clerics on the bridge in the passage to the left of the point where Duras stopped. Show this weapon, and then say that it's time to go to Goliet. Together with him, go to the city, where he will leave you.

Enter Goliet, talk to Drog and follow forward until you encounter Ragnar at the top of the stairs. Chat and let him know that you need a job. Ask for special quests to take on some quests.

Stolen equipment

This quest will be available in the quest section under the Vengeance Campaign category. It will be necessary to find the warrior who stole the equipment of the protagonist Jax. Call him Ray.

How to start the quest : taken automatically after meeting with Duras as part of the "Survive" story quest.

When you communicate with Duras, then ask about the stolen things. He will tell you about a robber named Ray. Duras will assume that it was he who stole the equipment. Before aboutgo in search of Ray, upgrade your character, because the path will be difficult. On the other hand, you can simply bypass opponents. You should get to the Sandy Pines Inn located in the above screenshot. Note that it is located north of Goliet at a rather distant distance.

Activate the nearby teleport "In the Three Pines".

Find Ray near the inn and watch the cut-scene, after which you will receive 200 experience points. Ray will confirm that he took Jax's gear. This will lead to the start of a new story quest "A Tangle of Emotions". It will be possible to complete two tasks - "Cunning Rogue" and "For a Fistful of Shards", and after completing the first Ray can become your constant companion.

Sly scoundrel / For a fistful of splinters

Talk to Ray and complete the quest "Cunning Rogue". To complete "For a Fistful of Shards", you will need to find the rest of the contracts. But already now, in conversations with Ray, you can ask him to join your team!

Separatist Sanctuary

This quest will be available in the quest section under the Vengeance Campaign category. You will have to find the hideout of the Albs separatists and talk to them.

How to start the quest : starts automatically after you chat with Duras on the "Survive" story quest.

So, at the beginning of the game, after talking with Duras, you will leave a new entry in the journal about the current task. On the other hand, you can start the quest after meeting a group of separatist Albs led by Kerax. Go to the hideout marked on the map and talk to Sestak to get a few tasks.

The first task of Sestak is to disable the converter at the current location. Find an elevator here and use it. Ride the other lifts in the tower until you reach the top, in the control room (red remote control). Click on the computer to disable the Southern Abessa Converter for 1000XP. You can tell Sestak about your success, but you don't have to. There are several units of Elexite on the roof of the tower.

IMPORTANT . All other converters in the game are disabled in the same way. It is absolutely not necessary to go after them right now, but for the later part of the plot, you will have to do this anyway - we will tell you about this in the description of the "War of the Machines" quest from the third chapter.

Also can you complete another task related to sep albums?ratists. It's called "Contact" and is noted in the main quest section of the journal. Before proceeding with its passage, pump at least to the tenth level. Go to the teleporter in Edan and follow the marker. After the cut-scene, a battle will begin, as a result of which you have to kill two Albs. For this you will receive 680 experience points. Move to the South Abessa teleporter and tell Sestak about the collision - after the cut-scene, you will be credited with 700 experience points.

If you join one of the three available factions as part of the Free as a Bird quest, you should definitely return to Sestak and report it. For this you will receive 1000 experience points. And when you complete all the main tasks of the Vengeance Campaign storyline, you will earn another 2000 experience points. This is how the second chapter begins.

Source: Dominant center

How to start the quest : You need to chat with Lloyd in the center of the camp. You can start the task differently if you get information about the village from another character.

Quest start

The Central Camp is a separate village located in the mountains on the border of Abessa and Edan, east of the Domed City and north of Goliet. You can see the exact location in the screenshot above.

Go there whenever you want, but remember - on the way you will meet strong opponents. There you can unlock the current quest, but there is an alternative way - with the help of other characters. After you find Ray in the Sandy Pines Inn, complete the quest "Cunning Rogue" and the NPC will tell you about the existence of the village if you ask him for Leo.

If you went to the central camp, then find Lloyd there and talk about everything. He will offer to perform several tasks for the inhabitants of the settlement.

Eckard

Talk to Eckard politely to start the quest, not the fight. He is looking for three people who want to protect the village - you can send your companions to complete the task. For each companion, you will receive 500 experience points, and if you hire all three, you will receive an additional thousand.

Note . By sending your companion to protect the village, you will not lose him forever. You can continue to travel with them, because after protection they will appear along with the rest of the companions in the small camp of Edana.

harley

Harley is a local mechanic who needs parts from a broken 7300 series Battle Colossus. Destroy ?This mechanoid is not so easy, so it is advisable to complete the quest at a higher level.

Jonesy

Jonesy will ask you to destroy ten Wandering Rotboars that are located on the territory of the village. Try to kill them as soon as you notice, so that you don't have to fight several mutated boars at once. If you pumped the hero well, you can deal with the enemies yourself. On the other hand, they can always be lured closer to Jonesy to help in combat. For each enemy killed, you will receive 125 experience points, and for the destruction of all - an additional thousand. Tell Jonesy about the completed task to get another 1000 experience points and 200 Elexit.

The final

When you complete the instructions of the three characters, then return to Lloyd and tell about it. He will give you an additional 3000 experience points and a tower key. This tower will become your home - it is shown in the screenshot above. You will also become the leader of this settlement.

badabuma

How to start the quest : In a conversation with Konrad or Duke Logan inside the Duke's bunker.

Head to the Fort, to the Forsworn base. Find the entrance to the Duke's bunker here and meet with Konrahome to learn about bomb making. Next, talk to Duke Logan and find out that he wants to use the bomb to dominate the rest of the factions. You can help the Forsworn make this bomb.

Return to Konrad and find out what other factions are needed to complete its manufacture. He will point out the three missing ingredients. You can intimidate, ask, or give Konrad 100 Elexit to find out where to find these components. It doesn't matter in what order you find them!

Bomb Parts Search

A concentric crosswound coil is one of the ingredients. You can find him at the military base, located west of the Sandy Pines Inn and northwest of the Fort. The base is surrounded by minefields, and inside there are dangerous monsters, but both can be easily bypassed. Enter the main building and use the jetpack to fly up to the room above. Collect the first component for the bomb and get 400 experience points

Now you need to find the patented Edwards capacitor. Now you will need to go north from the Fort and find a place with a huge, destroyed dome filled with monsters. You can kill them all or try to quickly find the right ingredient and then hide (400 experience points).

Next, you need to find the last ingredient, the inversion phase inductor. It is located in a huge plant to the west of the Fort, which is convenient to get close to from Goliet, moving east. As you explore the plant, be prepared to fight monsters, as well as numerous chasms that you need to fly over in a jetpack. You need to go into a chamber with strong radiation, so it is advisable to prepare for this in advance. Take the inductor and leave the room before you die from radiation - 400 experience points.

After collecting all three ingredients for the bomb, go back to Konrad and give him the parts to earn another 2000 experience points. Follow Logan and tell the one that the bomb is made. He will send you back to Konrad - go to where the mechanic was, but you will find that he has disappeared.

Finding Conrad

Leave the Fort and move north to the ruins under the dome (greenhouse). On the territory of the base you can meet many strong monsters, including Molochs and Dragons. The final destination is the destroyed dome, reaching which you will earn 400 experience points. Before heading down to the arena, save and make sure you have some good ranged (or magic) weapons like laser or plasma cannons??mi, which is ideal.

Once inside the dome, a cut-scene will play, revealing that Konrad didn't actually create the bomb, but the Badabumu robot. You will need to destroy this giant machine, and do it yourself (the satellites will be sent back).

Boss Fight - Badabuma

At the beginning of the battle, you do not need to try to attack this robot, since it is protected by a force field. Use the environment to take cover from his energy shots, and also watch out for a powerful ground slam. If you do not have a good ranged weapon, you can use a laser blaster - find it nearby and see if it is possible to use it.

Wait for the moment when the small car takes off from the robot hovering above the ground. She will always head to the Elexite field to fuel the huge robot. Attack her while she is in the air using a ranged weapon. When the repair machine is lowered, you can already beat it in close combat. Try to stay in constant motion, because the big robot will attack you at this time.

After destroying the Badabuma Repairman, you will receive 250 experience points and start the second stage of the battle. At this stage your ?The enemy will start using a flamethrower. If you don't have armor and fire resistance skills, then try to avoid getting hit by fire. Use ranged attacks to weaken the boss. For destroying it, you will receive 2500 experience points.

Completion of the quest

Return to the Duke in the bunker and tell Logan about everything. This will end the main quest, for which 2000 experience points will be awarded, but an additional task will begin - to pursue and kill Conrad.

Konrad will hide with the clerics in Hort. Find him at the factory, talk about everything and decide what to do - by following Logan's order and killing Conrad, you will receive 1100 experience points. After returning to the Duke, ask for a reward and get 3000 Elexit. If you want a good reputation with the clerics, you don't need to kill Konrad.

Ulbricht's big offensive

How to start the quest : Talk to Ulbricht in the cathedral in Hort's territory.

Appoint a leader

Ulbricht can be found inside the cathedral, on the second floor. This way you will know about the planned attack on the Albs and you can receive a reward for finding a good leader to participate in the battle.

EUIf you need a leader, you can chat with a number of characters:

  • Ragnar or Goliet.
  • Logan from Fort.
  • Sestaki on the teleport "Southern Abessa".
  • Zardom at the teleport "Company Territory: Northern Abessa".
  • Torald among the abandoned rocks.

None of these meetings will allow you to solve the problem. The most important candidate is Bestia from Fort. You won't be able to convince her to lead an attack right away. First you will need to complete the companion quest "Evil Lady" (Beast is a potential companion). In this task, you will need to win two battles - in the first, defeat the plague of insects, and in the second, the huge monster Giant. After you convince Bestia, you will receive 2000 experience points, and the girl will go to the Fort, where you will have to join her.

Preparing for battle

Note . You can complete this task after you pump your character to at least level 20. If your hero is too weak, then you will not be able to win all the battles or you will lose important allies.

Go to the Fort and look into Ulbricht's office, where you will also meet Bestia. After that, you will need to make a plan - this is a very important decision that will affect how difficult the battle will be, and, therefore?Well, it will determine the probability of loss of allies. Some of the battle plan settings will only be available if your hero has reached a certain level of composure.

You can choose from the following:

  • Ask Ulbricht to join the main character and the Beast - this decision will make the initial battles easier, but the character may die in battle (and not just knocked down).
  • Go without Ulbricht - it will make the battles more difficult, but it will keep him safe.
  • Order Ulbricht to support Reinhold's team - less support for you and Bestia.

Battle for Ignadon

Regardless of the option you choose, you need to get to the teleporter in Ignadon. There will be three battles:

  • The first battle - two huge mechs and a group of robots (for 2800 experience points).
  • The second battle - three huge mechs and a group of robots (2800 experience).
  • The third battle will take place in the courtyard in front of the teleporter. You need to fight three mechs, a group of robots and several albs under the command of Yurek (2800).

In each of the fights, try to focus on destroying mechs, especially if they attack your allies. Use EMP charges against them, adding them to electric weapons, which will allow you to stun opponents for a while. Saved?Stay between battles and restore the HP of the main character, and only after that inform Beast that you are ready to start the next battle.

After winning all the battles, chat with Bestia and get 12,000 experience points.

Toggle teleport on Ignadon

You will need to turn on the teleport on Ignadon. After the fight, search Jurek's corpse and take the card key, for which you will receive 8000 experience points.

Use the key card to get to the teleport, to the base. You need to climb to the top tier. Use the elevators and expect even more robot and alba encounters (but still much easier). Get to the room with the panel and interact with it to disable the machine (2000XP).

Free as a bird

The quest "Free as a Bird" is related to your choice of one of three factions - Berserkers, Outcasts and Clerics. This quest will appear in the journal after you talk to the leader of one of these factions, and will be updated as you meet with the leaders of the other factions. To join any faction, you will have to complete smaller tasks of their representatives (to increase reputation).

ATTENTION ! To hinder one or another faction in something means to lower the chances of joining it. You will either complicate this task, or even make it impossible.

The leader of the Berserkers is Ragnar, who lives in Goliet, Edan. You will first meet him near the steps in the center of the village. Later, Ragnar should be looked for in the ruins of Goliet's hotel. You may be in trouble if you admitted to being an Albian deserter during the first conversation. Complete the quests of Ragnar and the rest of the inhabitants of the settlement.

William from the Fort located in Tavar will help you join the Forsworn. However, the faction is ruled by Duke Logan. William should be found in the northern part of the Fort - complete his quests and the rest of the Forsworn representatives.

Judge Reinhold is located in the Cathedral, on the territory of Hort, located in the eastern part of Ignadon - with his help you can join the ranks of the Clerics. Complete various quests to increase your reputation.

Chapter 2. Battle Plans

Old man

This is the first task you will need to complete in the second chapter of Elex. To do this, complete all the quests from the Vengeance Campaign group. The mission is short, during its passage you will find yourself in t??m place where you will meet with a potential ally. By accepting the task, you will open another, large quest of the second chapter.

How to start the quest : Chat with Sestak located inside the Southern Abessa Converter.

Sestak, whom you first meet during the Separatist Sanctuary quest, will offer you to meet a former album named Zard.

It is located near the teleport "Company Territory: Northern Abessa". You will find this location during the Ulbricht's Big Offensive mission, it is located north of the dam. The base is surrounded by mountains, but from the east there is a passage to its territory. Chat with Zardom on all topics to get 400 experience points and unlock a new task - Zardom's Battle Plan.

You can also provide Zardom with several reports:

  • Istok Village Management - Complete the quest "Istok: Dominant Center".
  • Recruitment to Kaya's team from the Dome City.
  • Disabling the converter "Northern Abessa" (quest of the same name).
  • Neutralization of Duke Logan's bomb - "Badabum" quest.

Zardom's battle plan

How to start the quest : Chat with Zardom at the teleport "Company Territory: Seve?“Naya Abessa”.

In a conversation with him, he will give you two tasks.

Invasion of Abessa

In this quest, you need to destroy a group of Albs who are about to invade Abessa. These opponents are located to the west of Zardom's deployment. You can get there from the converter "Northern Abessa" (if you opened a teleport on it) or from the south.

You will need to kill ten Alb soldiers, four combat robots and an Alb commander. The task is simplified by the fact that the opponents are located at a distance from each other, and not all together. Approach each enemy group and try to lure them away from other opponents. Due to this, you will have to fight a maximum of two or three enemies at the same time. Also be careful with the Alb Commander as he has very strong hits. After defeating all enemies, you will receive 1000 experience points. Return to Zardom and report what happened.

Elexetor on the hunt

Now you will need to catch the enemy elector named Ripox. You can find him in the mountains to the west of the Northern Abessa Converter, which is also northeast of the Domed City. Find a path in the mountains, and when you get to the right place, then chat with the character. After that you have to Wed?Dealing with Repox is not such a dangerous opponent, but you need to act carefully and do not get close to the ruins, where you can also be attacked by ordinary robbers. Defeat Ripox to earn 1175 XP and then return to Zardom.

The choice is made

If you have not done this before, then go to the Domed City, find the berserk mage Kaya in it and talk about everything. Enlist support - it should become your companion.

After completing three tasks and talking with Zardom, you will receive 4000 experience points and start the third story chapter.

Chapter 3

Showdown with the Drifter

How to start the quest : Chat with Zardom at the teleport "Company Territory: Northern Abessa".

Zardom will give you a new task. This time you will need to find the Wanderer, whose name is Thorald. It is located in the "Abandoned Rocks" location in the southwestern part of Edan. You can get there, for example, through the Valley of the Damned, following from it to the south. If fighting in the Valley is difficult for you, then there is an alternative option - start with the Lift teleporter and head to the southwest.

Find Torald to start eh??Tomatic conversation and get 800 experience points. Select all dialogue branches to open new tasks collected in the "Old Duties" quest group. Among these quests are the following quest - "War of the Machines" (turn off the Albian converters), "Family Gathering" (meet with Jax's father, Wardek), "Strong Suspicion" (investigate the accusations against Zardom) and "Defective Reactor" (find the reactor coil) .

After completing ALL of these quests, return to Thorald, for which you will receive 8000 experience points and go to the fourth chapter.

Machine War

How to start the quest : Chat with Thorald among the Forsaken Rocks.

Torald will offer Jax to turn off all Albian converters, which will weaken their presence on Xakor. You can turn off the converters in any order! Each place will be well fortified and protected by a whole group of Albs (or monsters), but some of the enemy can be bypassed. Every time you enter the tall tower, use the elevators to get to the penultimate floor where the red console panel is located. Absolutely all towers are identical in structure and set of lifts / floors, so the consoles will be located in the same place. Interact with the console to initiatedisable the converters.

Here is the complete list of converters:

  • Converter in Edana.
  • Converter Northern Abessa.
  • Southern Abessa - This place is the hideout of the Separatist Albs, which you will encounter as part of the Separatist Sanctuary story quest.
  • Converter on Tavar.
  • Transformer in Ignadon - You will reach this Transformer as part of Ulbricht's Big Offensive story quest at the end of Chapter 1, when you get to the final battle, kill Jurek and loot his body (he will have a tower key card).
  • Converter in West Xacora.
  • Converter in East Xakore.

When all the converters are disabled, then return to Torald and report this to receive 4000 experience points.

family gathering

How to start the quest : Chat with Thorald among the Forsaken Rocks.

You must meet with the father of the protagonist Jax, whose name is Wardek. The man is inside the Alb separatist hideout inside the Southern Abessa Converter. Chat with Vardek to earn 800 experience points and learn about the location of Kallax, Jax's brother.

Head to the base located in the mountains, not far from the Northern Abessa Converter. You will need to get on the roof of one of the buildings. Use the protagonist's jetpack to get to the top. Be sure to save your progress, because after reaching the indicated place (for which you will receive 8000 experience points), you will find that you have fallen into Kallax's trap.

If your character is poorly leveled, then don't even try to fight the enemies that Kallax sends (war colossi, alb soldiers and battle robots). Quickly jump off the roof using your jetpack for a safe landing and leave the area as soon as possible.

Follow back to the Northern Abessa converter, where Vardek is located, and demand an explanation from him - 1400 experience points. He will give you the location of a small fishing village and invite you to visit the place. The island of the berserkers is located on the southern edge of Edan - you will need to sail there, since there is no bridge here. When you get to this place, Jax will see childhood memories, for which you will receive 1400 experience points. You can leave this place immediately or meet up with Katta by starting the side quest "Unjustly Exiled".

Talk to Vardek again inside the Northern Abess?? Decide how to react to the actions of Vardek, who took Jax and Kallax from the berserk village.

strong suspicion

How to start the quest : Chat with Thorald among the Forsaken Rocks.

During a meeting with Torald and communication on all topics, the man will tell the main character about disturbing information and accusations regarding Zardom and his true intentions. Return to the teleport "Company Territory: Northern Abessa", where you have already met with Zardom several times. This time the man will not be here! Instead, search the room and find Zardom's contract for Ray, for which you will receive 2000 experience points. You learn that Ray is responsible for Jax's downed glider.

Chat with Ray on all topics (you can find him in the camp of your team, near the Sandy Pines Motel - the Three Pines teleport, or in the Fort) and present your accusations to him, for which you will receive 2000 experience points. You will learn that Zardom personally forced Ray to fulfill the contract by threatening to kill Ray's kidnapped brother, Tom. If you have already been to the Origin camp and started the Origin: Dominating Center quest, then Jaxa should remember a friendly jackal from this area. Find him on the territory of the village and interact. Name the magic word to return Tom to human form. You will receive 2000 experience points and increase Ray's loyalty.

Defective reactor

How to start the quest : Chat with Thorald among the Forsaken Rocks.

The part you need to find is located at the company's premises in East Edan, which is in the western part of the map. When you follow to the base, once inside it, eliminate a huge number of monsters. Try to bypass the biggest enemies and never try to fight against several creatures at the same time.

Soon you will have to get to the underground part of the facility. Find an elevator in one of the large buildings, jump down the shaft and use the jetpack to land safely. Downstairs you should find a control room. Use the terminal to see a spiral staircase that leads to the reactor.

Use this ladder and get to the lowest tier. Examine the rooms located here - the desired reactor is located in a dark room with a glowing elexite - take it to get 2000 experience points. Together with the part, return to the central camp, where there is a mechanic named Harley, who is repairing Jax's glider. Give the part and get an additional 2000 experience points.

Chapter 4

Through the icy desert

How to start the quest : Chat with Thorald among the Forsaken Rocks.

Chat with Thorald, who will provide you with a list of the six Alb commanders located in Xacor and protecting the Ice Palace. You can find each of the six targets in any order, but you should be prepared - along with the commanders there will be other enemies. Try to bypass the fighting colossus, which is completely optional to destroy. The commanders are inside small bunkers - you can use ranged attacks to lure out the commanders and separate them from the rest of the opponents.

You DO NOT need to eliminate all the enemies in the location, just kill the commander and move on to the next one marked with a marker. Do not forget that you need to search the corpse of each of the commanders.

For killing one commander, you get 175 experience points, and for the destruction of all - an additional 7000. Having done this, return to Thorald and report the end of the mission.

Test of the separatists

How to start the quest : Chat with Thorald among the Forsaken Rocks.

ANDagain talk to Torald, who will issue the next task. Meet the Separatists inside the South Abessa Converter, talk to Sestak and you can end the conversation in two ways:

  • You were able to convince the separatists by saying that you all have a common goal. This will happen if you declare that you want to destroy the Hybrid. Thanks to this, the Separatist Albs will join you during the final battle for Xakor, for which you will receive 3500 experience points. Due to their presence, it will be easier for you in battle.
  • You will lose the support of the Separatist Albs after you tell them about your plan. This will happen if you declare that you want to communicate with the Hybrid or are going to let him rule the world. This will start the battle with the Separatists, which will give you 1400 experience points. First, deal with Sestak, as he is the most powerful opponent. For killing him, you will be awarded 175 experience points. After that, finish off the rest of the separatists located inside the converter - for each killed you will receive 100 experience points. Choosing this option means that you will not be able to enlist the support of the Albian Separatists during the final battle for Xakor, which will make it difficult to win.

Elex's voice

How to start the quest : Chat with Thoraldamong the abandoned rocks.

Meet Thorald and talk about everything. Ask him about the progress of the experiment on eleksit. You will learn that Torald needs the help of a powerful magician. Tell him that Kaya can take part in the experiment. Meet the woman at the camp and ask for help, for which you will receive 1400 experience points. Return to Thorald and let him begin the experiment. The unexpected appearance of Zardom will lead to the collapse of the experiment, but will allow you to get another 3500 experience points.

Chat with Thorald for 7000 experience points and go to the teleport "Company Territory: Northern Abessa". There you will find the unconscious Kaya, who will rejoin your team. Talk to the woman to complete the quest and get another 1400 experience points.

Who am i?

How to start the quest : Chat with Thorald among the Forsaken Rocks.

During a conversation with Thorald, you will learn that Kallax is in Zardom's old hideout, near the teleport "Company Territory: Northern Abessa". As far as he knows, no ambush is expected there. But still, save your current progress as soon as you get to the right place. Enter the building where you will meet Kallax and get 1000 pointsexperience.

Any dialogue options available to you will somehow lead to a battle. This is a very dangerous opponent, and you will have to keep an eye on all his melee attacks, because in addition to physical damage, you miss electrical damage. Defeat Kallax for 3725 experience points.

But this task will not be completed, because you have to find the password that will allow you to unlock the Hybrid's camera in the Ice Palace. Go to the Istok camp and ask Harley about it. Then you need to return to the company territory in West Edan - the place that you visited during the "Defective Reactor" mission.

Go down into the dungeon again and move into the room behind the spiral staircase. A cut-scene will start here, during which the hero will find the password and be able to open the way to the palace - 8400 experience points.

Last meeting

How to start the quest : Chat with Thorald among the Forsaken Rocks.

Travel to Camp Istok and talk to Harley's mechanic to find out about the repair of the glider and its readiness to attack the Ice Palace. If you manage to convince Harley to give Jax control of the glider, you will receive 1400 experience points. Harley will say that you need to find another part??? steering wheel. Start your search in Xacor - get to one of the bunkers (you can sneak past the enemies or kill them all), take the steering wheel lying on the console, for which you will get 3500 experience points. Return to Harley and give the part - an additional 3500 experience.

Before continuing the storyline, you must complete the main tasks from the fourth chapter, which were described earlier.

Here is a list of all required quests:

  • The destruction of the commanders of the Albs on the quest "Through the icy desert."
  • Hiring or destroying Separatist Albs - The quest "Test of the Separatists".
  • Launch of Torald's experiment - "Voice of Eleks".
  • Solving the problem with Callax and finding the password from the Hybrid chamber - "Who am I?".

Having done all this, you will successfully complete the preparatory phase and receive 7000 experience points. But don't rush - make sure that:

  • Stocked up with a sufficient number of first-aid kits, spells and other consumable items.
  • Equipped with the best weapons and armor you could find - explore the range of goods from merchants of different factions.
  • Pumped to a high level - not lower than 30, but ideally - 35.
  • Saved by hand.

Talk to Harley and tell him you're ready. Jax will not personally manage Mr.lider - Ray will take care of it. The protective barrier around the Ice Palace is destroyed, and you can start the final stage of the game - 7000 experience points.

final stage

Battle for Xakor

How to start the quest : will open automatically after completing the quest "The Last Battle".

The most important thing here is that the battle will not start until you get to the Ice Palace and attack one of the enemies yourself (or until you order Torald to do so). Head to the converter in Xakor East and head west.

All allies can be on your side, members of the three main factions (berserkers, outcasts and clerics) and separatist Albs (provided that you were able to convince them during the quest "Test of the Separatists").

You will need to destroy the following opponents:

  • Four commanders of the Albs.
  • 16 Albian soldiers.
  • Four battle colossi.
  • 12 combat robots.

During the fight, make sure that Jax is not attacked by several opponents at once, as in this case he will be easily destroyed. Focus on killing War Colossi quickly, as they are the highest threat to the enemy.? Jax and other allies. Kill other enemies in any order.

The battle will not be automatically lost even if one of the allies dies (for example, the leader of a faction). However, his death can negatively affect the difficulty of the battle. After the victory, you will be credited with 11,500 experience points. Now you can proceed to the task "Lair of the Beast".

How to start the quest : will open automatically after completing the quest "The Last Battle".

Enter the Ice Palace as soon as you win the previous battle during the Battle for Xakor quest. Before you do this, prepare carefully by checking your supplies of consumable items that could help Jax in battle (GG will fight alone!).

Warbots located in the palace will not attack Jax until you provoke them yourself. However, you can deal with them if you want to get additional experience points - 125 for each.

In the main hall, chat with Tarek, while the meeting will not end in a fight. Before you go to the Hybrid's chamber, you will have to complete a small task "A threat to people." Visit the main character's father's room, for which you will already receive 1400 pointsov experience, where you will need to find four records of Wardek for 4900 experience. They will allow you to find out about the true intentions of this character.

Get to the cell with the Hybrid for 3500 experience, communicate with the creature. In this case, certain dialogue options will be available depending on the coldness of the character.

Then you will need to fight the Hybrid. When the battle starts, try to attack the boss with the most powerful moves before his assistants appear - fighting machines. They look and fight in exactly the same way as the combat robots encountered in the game before. Attack war machines only if it is really necessary - use area attacks to weaken enemies. By defeating the Hybrid, you will destroy all other machines.

The hybrid attacks with powerful melee attacks that also deal electrical damage. This means that it is desirable to equip armor that has additional protection against electricity. Hide behind the pillars to avoid the Hybrid's ranged attacks. Stay on the move as a missed hit can knock you down in addition to damage. Defeating the Hybrid will complete the battle and the current quest. After talking with the Hybrid, it will be possible to start an epilogue called "The Future of Magalan".
