Completely redesigned shooter Cuisine Royale will get to PS5 and Xbox Series X / S

Gaijin Entertainment and Darkflow Software are announcing that brutal shooter Cuisine Royale is getting a huge update that turns it into a virtual new game.

Players are waiting for two new heroes - a voodoo sorcerer from Haiti and a child of nature from Korea, a new map "Siberia Island" and a redesigned leveling and equipment system. The update also adds motor boats and shooting from cars on the move, flamethrowers and mortars, other weapons and features. There are so many changes that the game will now be known on all platforms under the new name CRSED: FOAD - that is, Cuisine Royale Second Edition: Fulfillment of All Desires. By the way, FOAD is the name of the deadly competition in which the game's heroes participate, and some of them prefer to read this abbreviation differently.

Alexander Polyakov, lead developer of CRSED: FOAD, explains: “We believe the new title better captures the spirit of brutal fighting without rules, in which heroes with mystical abilities fight.”

CRSED: FOAD is out now on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Versions designed specifically for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, are already ready and will be released in the coming days, immediately after the approval of the platform holders. Thus, CRSED: FOAD will be Gaijin Entertainment's third project for next-generation consoles, with the first two - War Thunder and Enlisted - already available to players. They all use Ray Traced Global Illumination technology to provide natural lighting to the game world, and run at 4K@60FPS on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X, 1440p@60FPS on Xbox Series S.

In addition, CRSED: FOAD is Gaijin Entertainment's first game on the Epic Games Store, allowing PC owners to participate in large-scale survival battles wherever they feel most comfortable.

The metagame in CRSED: FOAD is significantly different from what was seen in Cuisine Royale. The free character rotation system will allow you to try most of the heroes and choose the ones you want to play as all the time. Game-affecting effects that were previously tied to clothing items are now equipped separately, allowing you to change your character's appearance as you like, without thinking about battle plans. In addition to traps, rituals and the unique personal skills of the heroes, new mystical powers have appeared - abilities (do not spend souls escape??Enemy enemies, but take a long time to recharge) and witch pouches (for example, grenades that summon zombies). And the new Battle Pass system will help players earn cosmetic items, Witch Pouch recipes, Mystic Scrolls, unique traps and rituals, Summon Stones, and more by completing quests.

Summon Stones are needed to gain access to new heroes, and in the update, two experienced fighters are added to the current five at once.

Born in Haiti to a family of police detectives, Louis "Bokor" Celine learned as a child that he was destined to become an ungan - a voodoo sorcerer. In the battles of CRSED: FOAD, Louis participates in order to sacrifice defeated opponents to the spirits of the loa, whom he owes for saving his mother from criminals. In combat, the Ungan summons machine-wielding zombies to follow him faithfully, attacking any enemy he finds.

The exact place and date of birth of Shin “Huli” Yo-bi is unknown, the girl grew up in a foster family, and she was named after the heroine of a children's cartoon about a Korean werewolf fox. The girl communicated little with her peers, but the dogs understood herwithout words, and the children with whom she did not get along were often stung by hornets and wasps. But for the sake of saving her friend, she is ready to do anything - even enter the FOAD circle. In battle, Yo-bi can summon a swarm of fireflies that scatter around the area and envelop any detected enemy.

The new map “Siberia Island” (available in rotation with “Mexico”, as well as winter and summer “Normandy”) – 16 square kilometers of landscapes that can be looked at and studied for weeks. Here is an ancient settlement carved into the rock, in the neighborhood - a fishing village that has gone waist-deep into unsteady silt, but here is a field of geysers where an inattentive tourist can easily boil alive, and even a real fire-breathing volcano. There is also a legacy of the military power of the USSR: concrete pillboxes, giant hangars, secret underground tunnels and a missile silo of a long-abandoned military base, as well as the infamous Siblag labor penal colonies. There is much more water on the “Isle of Siberia” than on previous maps - there is where to go boating even without the flood ritual.
