Walkthrough Hobo: Tough Life - guide to the homeless simulator

This guide will collect basic tips and tricks for passing the homeless simulator. We will talk about the basics of survival on the city streets.

Dream

In order to sleep you need:

  1. Complete a quest with Maisner to learn how to make cardboard bedding (optional)
  2. We go to the park, next to the gas station and find benches. You can sleep on them. Cardboard is needed so that the temperature drops more slowly and it turns out to sleep longer.
  3. In the future, it will be possible to make a mattress and sleep on it already in your shelter.

Food

Everything is simple here: the main thing to remember is that eating food from the trash is fraught, you can get sick. It is better to buy / beg normal food from passers-by. Or after the quest from Maisner, learn how to cook yourself.

Toilet

To defecate, you can go to a public toilet (one of them is at a gas station) or the Shelter:

  1. In a public toilet, you will be ripped off 30 coins, but after visiting, the stench will also decrease by 10. In order for you to be let in, you should not stink.
  2. In the Shelter they will take a smaller amount from you (or pay with Trust) and you will just relieve yourself.

In the future, you will be able to learn from the master the ability to poop anywhere (well, more precisely, in special places, like a corner or a nook). But this requires toilet paper.

Temperature

It's even easier here. When body temperature drops, we take damage and die.

The nights get colder and the average temperature drops every day.

  1. To warm up, you either need to go to the shelters of the homeless and warm themselves by their barrels.
  2. Find empty barrels and burn garbage in them
  3. Drink alcohol.

It is also not bad to find clothes with a high index of protection against the cold. Such clothes need to be protected, and therefore - not to rummage through the garbage heaps in it.

Morality

There is no problem with her. When morale falls, we drink alcohol and smoke cigarettes.

Again, it is better to use high-quality alcohol and cigarettes. Gobies and unfinished bottles will have a very strong effect on the Poison and Disease indicator.

However, they should not be abused. Otherwise, addiction will appear, and getting rid of it is a real headache. Especially at the beginning of the game.

  • Also, morality grows if you defecate on the street and wipe it?with expensive paper.
  • Some dialogues with passers-by also raise morale.

The surest and painless option would be to communicate with Maister. But for this, you need to build trust with him.

Stink (from oneself and from clothes)

Smelly body and clothes lead to the fact that people on the streets will eventually stop responding to you, and all the sellers will not trade with you.

In order for this indicator not to grow too quickly, it is necessary:

  1. Have a separate set of clothes for digging in the trash
  2. When we dig in the garbage, we rummage strictly until the moment when we find all the available kaki. (For example, at skill level 2, we will determine the location of the first three kakul, and accordingly, when we find the last one, we stop rummaging in this trash can and go to another one).

How to wash yourself and clothes:

  1. You can wash your clothes in laundries and the Shelter (both there and there for money). What will wash only the clothes that you are wearing.
  2. You can wash yourself only in the Shelter.
  3. If the level of stench is low, you can use wipes and liquid soap, it can be found in trash cans.

Diseases and Health

B??lest:

If you smoke gobies, eat food from garbage cans and constantly drink, then the disease will quickly kill you.

In order to reduce the level of the disease, you can do the following:

  1. Eat apples (you can buy them at the supermarket or beg from passers-by)
  2. Brew tea (Maisner teaches the recipe) and drink it.
  3. You can find antibiotics in trash cans.
  4. You can be treated by a doctor, but for this you will need to pump Trust with him.

Health:

Actually HP. Any indicator in the red zone (cold, hunger, etc.) begins to inexorably take away our HP. In order to restore HP, there are the following options:

  1. Eat good food (some of them restore HP)
  2. Craft bandages from old fabric and use them
  3. Can be treated by the above doctor
  4. You can build your own shelter and choose the property of regenerating HP in a dream there.
