Since there were more people on board than the pirates had planned, Flint orders one of the captives to be hung up. This prisoner turned out to be William, an old acquaintance of Adelaide. Choose how to proceed:

Path of Power - Adelaide will threaten the pirates to save William's life.

Path of Diplomacy - Adelaide negotiates with the pirates to keep William alive.

In conversation with William:

Decide whether to say goodbye to Ponzo in the end:
