Old information

The appearance of Death fills the air with electricity. Her presence frightens even the Riders so much that their conversation becomes barely audible. Vicky takes advantage of the moment to eavesdrop on their conversation, trying to understand their plans and motives.

After her visit to the School, Vicky notices that someone is following her. Trying to speed up and get away from her pursuer, she loses her balance and collides with a stone at full speed. But before it hits, Malbonte appears out of nowhere, ??to save her.

Waking up, Vicky discovers that they are on an island. Metis provides her with a vial that needs to be given to Rivelius to prepare a special potion that creates addiction. If the relationship between Vicky and Malbonte is strong enough, he shares a secret with her: to prepare a potion for the Plague, he adds his own blood to it. Vicki can tell him about her dream with Shepfamalum, but Malbonte is convinced that every god has his own plans and riddles. He also claims that Plague does not trust him as much as he would like.

The next day, Vicky returns to the Order to share her recent adventures. However, her story is interrupted by an alarm from the outside. Meeting an alarmed Misselina on the street, Vicki learns of the arrival of other immortals. They bring bad news: The Riders have discovered one of their bunkers.

Eragon insists on going there immediately, but Rebekah expresses doubts. Depending on Vicky's character, she may decide to wait or insist on leaving immediately. Vicky's decision will have an impact on further events: either they will receive news about the death of the inhabitants of the bunker, or they will arrive there on time.
