Walkthrough Rune 2

Rune 2 is a third-person action slasher game where the protagonist is trying to survive during the time of Ragnarok.

Walkthrough Tips

  1. Glowing blue circles are save points that you can fast travel between! However, remember that any artifacts will be lost with such a move. For example, you can find one of those after activating the magnet in the middle of the Herald of the End mission.
  2. The color of the opponent's name shows how strong he is. The weakest savages are signed in green, the stronger ones in yellow and orange.
  3. Pick up any loot you find.
  4. You can store collected items in a chest inside any built house. Regardless of the name of the building you are restoring, there is a standard set of objects inside - a grindstone, an anvil, a fire pit, a chest and a stone for crafting runes.
  5. To get wood, attack a tree with any weapon. Any tree falls after three hits. But depending on the size of the tree, 2-4 branches may remain after the fall.
  6. Iron, stone, copper and so on are mined by destroying stones. You get them during strikes, and after the destruction of the stone, you do not need to pick up anything.
  7. Look for loot inside different chests and bags, hung from poles. You will find such bags already on the first island of the game. Create a bow and arrows so that you can shoot down the bags. Aim directly at them (not necessarily at the rope that holds them).
  8. Be sure to study all the blue stones to get different information and tips on the game, as well as data on the plot.
  9. Press Y to see current and completed quests. In addition, there are tests in the far right section. Check out their terms. Complete appropriate actions to earn extra experience points.
  10. To restore health points, catch and kill a lizard, deer, wild boar or wolf. Then cook this meat on a fire. There are bonfires not only in houses, but also simply in the surrounding world. Humans are better not to eat, otherwise there will be various debuffs.
  11. Your inventory will soon fill up. To unload it, dismantle rusty and identical weapons by selecting its cell and holding LMB and RMB at the same time. If you have a lot of the same type of materials, then move the part to the chest. For example, rags stack exclusively in 10 pieces, after which they need a new cell.
  12. Open the last tab of the anvil to see the menu for creating steel and bronze. Make them to reduce the amount of ore in your inventory.
  13. A whetstone inside any house allows you to repair all EQUIPPED equipment. EIf you have a second sword, you will have to equip it and sharpen it again. For each sharpening, special items are consumed (stones from the inventory). You find them when killing enemies, searching chests and bags.
  14. In addition to the main attack on the LMB and the block on the RMB , you can use a lunge strike. To do this, press CTRL .
  15. Learn how to use shortcut boxes as soon as possible. Open inventory and at the bottom left you will see 10 such cells. Items located in the quick access cell do not take up space in the inventory!
  16. During the game, in the lower right corner of the screen, you will see five quick access cells that are activated by pressing the 1/2/3/4/5 keys. The ALT key allows you to switch to the second five of these items.
  17. Runes are consumable items that need to be placed in a quick access slot. The red rune restores HP, the blue one knocks enemies back, the orange one increases damage, and the purple one allows you to teleport forward for short distances.

End of the century

As part of this quest, you must find two artifacts. Remember the purple crystal on the small island with the mountain? Activate it so that points with the locations of two artifacts appear on the map. You will also be offered to get two more additional artifacts. In all four places you will need to fight enemies. Somewhere it will be one powerful opponent, somewhere - as many as two. There will even be a battle with the wolf, but in order to get to it, you will need to go to the top??x uphill. You can't go up to the left, so go even higher and to the right. To summon the wolf, destroy the totems. In the fourth place, you will need to light three piles of firewood. All artifacts must be delivered to any portal, and you cannot move quickly, otherwise they will disappear. If you die, the artifact will remain at the place where the hero died.

Blow the horn like you did before to get to Loki. Defeat the normal enemies, after which Loki himself will appear. Finish off the remaining minions, then deal with the boss. He uses one sweeping attack, so be careful. Also, before sending to Loki, we recommend stocking up on good weapons. The battle will be long, due to which most of the weapons will break.
