Walkthrough Sword Coast Legends

Prologue

Night on the road

Click anywhere on the map with the left mouse button to move to that location. The Quest Log is on the right, and it displays the names of current quests, as well as any current or completed tasks. In case you missed something, the tabs on the bottom left open up the chat, history, and combat log.

Rotate the camera by moving the mouse left and right while holding down the right button to get a better view of the surroundings. Zoom in on the camera with the mouse wheel. Hold the ALT key to highlight all nearby interactive items. Clicking on an object like a chest will give the order to approach the object and automatically interact with it.

Exit the room and go down the corridor to the right. Open the chest and take all the items from it. Press the I key to open inventory. Double click on armor, pants and weapons to equip them. Kill the two enemies and go left to go down the stairs to the main hall.



Talk to allies and defeat all enemies. There is a ritual brazier in the upper left room, but it is empty. Find a chest in the previous room in the lower left corner. Open it and take out the skull. Place the skull on the ritual brazier. At the top left you will see the hatch of the cellar. Open it and go down to the dungeon.

Move through the dungeon, talk to the gnome. Move on, killing the enemies. Open chests yourself. If they contain a quest item, then the article will indicate this. Get to the fiery eye on the ground and watch the cut-scene.

Move forward along the path. On the map, you can see purple icons - these are characters distributing additional quests. You can take them if you like. Follow straight ahead without turning anywhere, and you will meet Belamy near the bridge. Talk to him, defeat the bandits. Return back to the caravan, where three warriors will be waiting for you. Talk to them and defeat the running opponents. Agree to move on. Quest completed.

After them

Move to the right on the map. The entrance to the cave is in the lower right corner of the map. There should be three more mercenaries. Kill them and enter the mercenary cave.



Mercenary Cave

Move through the cave. The commander should be at the top. Kill him and find the key. At the top left, where there are two doors (to the left and up), you can complete an additional task that one of the members of the caravan could give. Go left and see Richard. Talk to him and try to convince him not to steal.

Go through the top door, deal with the enemies and watch the cut-scene. Then you can agree with one or the other character. Follow Belami, talk to the mage. Choose a squad. Exit the cave up the steps on the left.

Move on until there are passages to the left and right. Go left (up) and see a locked gate. Note that there are square wooden slabs with green circles on both sides of the gate. Stand on them one character at a time. Step back as the third character and break the table on the hillock on the left to reveal the third slab. Step on it and a passage will open. Now enter the room with all characters and defeat the goblins. Talk to the rescued person and go back. Go right.



Find the room where the stolen caravan items will be (in a chest). Then follow to the place of the cave where you have to fight with the leader of the hired killers. Use all the skills you have. On the "Space" key, you can stop time and distribute teams to squad members.

After defeating him, decide what to do with him. In this passage, the enemy was finished off. Collect everything in the cave. Take the mercenary's contract from the torture table. Thanks to this, the passage back to the Grand Route will open.

Go right and hit the wheel with the rope that is responsible for the locked gate. Go downstairs, turn in additional quests that you managed to complete. Also talk to Jarhild to complete the main mission. Go through the gate on the right side.

Talk to the characters and go to the active point on the lower right to exit to the world map. Head to Luskan, to the right of the gate.



Act I

city gate

Go up to the tents where the people from your caravan are. Talk to Tollin. Find it by hovering your mouse over each person. Go to the locked city gates on the top left. Talk to Bosan Taddok. Agree to his terms and give 50 gold.

Toxic Rift

Go left along the wall and go down. So diagonally you should find the entrance to the cave, near which the trader Oto can stand. Enter the Toxic Rift. Talk to Bosan about everything. Go forward and to the left through the cave, killing rats and spiders. At the end there should be a pale green stone. Examine it.

In the sewers

Infiltrating the City - Part 2

When you find yourself in the sewers, you will learn a new goal. You must leave it through another exit. There are several spiders waiting for you here. Spiders are dangerous because they can poison you. If the hero is hit by poison, health points will begin to be taken away. At the city gates and throughout the location above, you can find chests, inside of which there are amulets that save you from poisoning. It is unlikely that you will be able to find four amulets, but already two will be enough to protect the main characters. In the sewers, you can find the rest of the amulets.

Defeat the spiders and meet Wilgen. Then you either pay for the passage, or use strength, charm, or, finally, just kill opponents. The fight is not easy, so think twice before you start it.

Boss - Wilgen

Vilgen attacks you in the back, acts covertly and deftly. With one blow, he is able to inflict great damage on your character. Before fighting with Vilgen, it is recommended to return to the previous room. Stand on the side and wait for some of the opponents to go through the archway. Throw in something like poison or fire. Most likely, Wilgen, after you leave, will hide, and then suddenly attack. When Vilgen is in stealth mode, then kill the rest of the opponents. When he appears, then attack only him. From time to time, stop the game and heal your team by giving orders.

Tip: when you walk through the sewers, then use the search to find a few caches (search - highlighting objects).

Rat race

The sewer is a huge place. Get to the gate through which you can get into the "dead rats" hideout. Rikiel, the guard at the gate, won't let you through. For a pass, he demands a favor. Agree and find out that you must find the sword. The sword is lying next to one of the boxes. Near them is a mysterious stranger. The desired point is located to the north on the map. Talk to a stranger who will say that the sword is broken. That part of the sword that survived was carried away by the rat. Go to the center of the slums, where you can find a cluster of rats. Kill them all and take the sword piece. Now it needs to be fixed. Go to the junk merchant, which is located on the western side of the sewers. When you have the restored sword, then follow back to Rikel and give him the weapon. Now you can go inside.

Infiltrating the City - Part 3

Go through the shelter along the only possible route. Climb up and enter the city. Tip: after the shelter, when you just get into the city, then do not go far. Use the search to find a secret door on the left along the sewers. Open it and find yourself in a treasure vault.

Talk to your partners and learn a new task. Open the map and find the tavern. Inside it, talk to a girl named Shivanni. She is near the stairs. Go upstairs and talk to the wounded soldier. He will not share information with you, but promises to tell you everything if you cure him. Do so, and then listen to the tip. In one of the shelters you can find Soranil. There are several points on the map. There is a shelter at every point. If you want to immediately go to Soranila, then move to the shelter, which is located near the herbalist's trading booth. Soranil will be here. Win the battle, chat with the elf.

Inside the Dead City - Part 1

After talking, find out about the new task. Move to the indicated place to go to a new location called "Slums".

When you get to the "Slums", then move forward. Go to the cemetery and learn about the new mission objective. There will be a lot of undead here. In the center, on the right and left sides, there are a total of three crypts. In the crypt on the left there is a portal of Maferil, which is what you need. Don't rush to use it. In order to use the portal, you need to find a few items.

So, you must find a black candle, a crystal vessel, grave dust and an ogre zombie tooth. The black candle is inside the central crypt. In the northern part of the same crypt stands Falcrow. Fight him.

Boss - Falcrow

In the battle against Falcrow, remember that the enemy summons wolves, and also enchants a member of your squad, which immediately begins to attack their own. Try to prepare carefully for the fight. Stun the enemy or block his skills with magic. You can even ignore the wolves.

When the enemy is defeated, then inspect his corpse and take the key. Use the key to open the chest nearby and take out a few things from there, among which there will be the same black candle. Leave the central crypt.

Grave dust can be obtained from the corpse of a vampire from the crypt. Even if you kill vampire slaves, you can still profit from grave dust. In the left crypt, where the portal is located, you will get this grave dust, therefore, for now, you can focus on finding the two remaining items.
