How to start passing Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree

To start the add-on, you need to complete some part of the original game. The most important thing is to find and kill the optional boss, Mog, behind which will be the entry point to the new region.

Mog, known as the Lord of Blood, is one of the bosses in the Elden Ring game. You can find and kill him by following a few steps. Here are the detailed instructions in Russian:

Find Mogwyn's Palace

Mogwyn's Palace is located in the Underground location, which can be accessed in two ways:

• Through the portal in the Castle of Insight (Dynasty Mausoleum Midpoint).
  
• Through the transportation portal, which is located in Celia's Tomb (hidden cave in Necron, Eternal City).

Passing through the Dungeon

1. After entering Mogwyn's Palace, you will need to pass through a series of enemies and mazes.
2. Follow through bloody caves and bridges, avoid enemies if possible or kill them to safely pass on.
3. After passing all the obstacles, you will find a room with a bloody altar. This is the arena where Mog, the Lord of Blood, is located.

Battle with Mog

Preparation:

1. Make sure you have enough health potion (Red Tear Flasks) and mana potion (Blue Tear Flasks).
   
2. It is advisable to have a weapon with fire damage, as Mog is vulnerable to fire.
3. Use weapons with a long attack range and spells.

Combat Tactics:

• Mog uses blood-based attacks that can deal significant damage and cause bleeding.
  
• During battle, try to keep your distance and attack him from a safe distance.
• Use rolls to dodge his attacks.
• Watch his actions carefully and try to anticipate his attacks.

Special Phase:

• At some point in the fight, Mog will raise his hands and apply the Blood Ritual, which will deal you three powerful blows that cannot be avoided.
  
• To minimize the damage from this ritual, use an item called "Mohg's Shackle" (Mohg's Blessing), which can be found in the dungeon.

After defeating Mohg, Lord of Blood, you will receive a significant amount of runes and unique items. Explore the arena and areas around to find additional treasures and items.
