Walkthrough Poppy Playtime - game guide

The first chapter of Poppy Playtime is called A Tight Squeeze. In the story, players go to an old toy factory, where a huge toy monster has settled. To complete the chapter, you need to go through two factory zones. Below is collected all the necessary information for the passage of Poppy Playtime Chapter 1.


Starting a new game

When you're ready, press the START button on the main menu. Select New Game to start from the first chapter. Official chapter description:

As a former employee of Playtime co., several years later you return to the factory after a strange incident with the disappearance of all employees.


Next to the description is a monster that will haunt you throughout the game. With the help of our guide, you can complete the chapter in 30-60 minutes.

Green cassette (optional)

After watching the introductory video, you will be able to control the character. As soon as you get control, go to the reception desk and take the green cassette from the table. Use the interaction key. Take this cassette to the TV and the green tape recorder located to the right of the table. Insert the cassette into the VCR and watch the recording.

How to open the security door

After watching the cutscene, turn right and enter the gift shop. Inside itexamine the ceiling to see a train running on overhead rails. Pay attention to the color of the wagons. Leave the gift shop and go back through the reception to the security area. There is a door with a colored keypad. Enter the colors you saw on the train. In my case it is:


  • Green
  • Pink
  • Yellow
  • Red

By doing this, you will open the door. Go through it to the security office.

Blue cassette and blue hand

There is a table inside the security office. Approach him, take the blue videotape and insert it into the blue tape recorder nearby. View the entry. You will learn how to use hands that you have yet to find. These hands are needed to solve most of the puzzles in the first chapter. When the video ends, a container with a blue hand will open. Approach and interact with her to equip on the character. This way you get the left (blue) hand.


Lobby entrance

Once you have the blue hand, return to the reception area, jump over the front desk and go to the door with the blue hand above. Now you can open it to get to the main part of the factory.

Playtime Lobby

There are several important things inside the lobby. The first is a huge Huggy Waggi toy monster in the center of the room. This is the same toy that will haunt you throughoutthe entire chapter. The second moment — 7 doors. These doors lead to different rooms in the factory. Before using any door, use the blue hand to grab the yellow energy room key dangling from the hand of the giant toys. The door on the left will not open because there is no electricity. When the yellow key falls, take it with your hand. Once you get the yellow key, go to the door marked POWER. Enter the room and prepare to turn on the power.


Turn the Power Back On

Go to the very end of the room to find a closed socket. Use the blue hand to open its lid. Once the socket is open, use the blue hand on it. Hold your hand there and walk over the two poles. This path will take you back to the beginning of the room. If you do everything right, the feed will be restored.

After turning on the power, return to the lobby. You will notice that Huggy Waggi is not there. From now on, the monster will hunt you, moving through different rooms. Next, you need to go through the blue door, which we tried to open without electricity. Open it and go down the corridor. Go through the door on the left, through the dark hallway leading to the next area.


How to find the red hand

Head through the room past the yellow VCR and up the stairs to the platform. Go forward until you find the control panel. Ryadom with it, on the ground there is a blue fuse and a slot. Take the fuse and install it in the control panel, then jump down to the tier below using the gap in the railing. In the lower rooms you need to find 3 more fuses. They spawn randomly in rooms! Just carefully inspect them: they can lie on the floor or on shelves. Once you've collected the three fuses, return to the control panel and install them. The crane will work, which will bring the red hand to the conveyor belt. Go down to the item and take it with you. Now you have both hands!

Yellow video cassette (optional)

If you want to collect all the videotapes, you can find another one right now, in this place where the red hand was found. The yellow cassette is on the second slanted shelf closest to the door. Go behind the first shelf to grab onto it. A VCR that can play a cassette is located next to the stairs leading to the platform. You walked past it earlier when looking for the control panel and the red hand. As soon as you pick up the red hand and the cassette, you can leave this area. Do not attempt to return to the lobby the same way. Instead, you need to use the red hand you just found. In the room where we found the red hand, there is a conveyor belt with a door. Use both hands to open the door, then walk forward along the tape until you find yourself?? at the bottom.

How to solve the conveyor belt puzzle

You will be stuck at the bottom of the tape. To advance, you need to complete a circle. Where you landed, you need to turn right and go along the conveyor belt to the ramp leading up. Climb up it and look to the right. There will be an outlet here. Shoot it with one hand. Leave it connected. Turn around and go down the ramp to bypass the electric pole. Return to the entrance and go to the door. Look to the left and shoot the socket to complete the circuit. You will automatically move forward on the tape. Ride it to the very end of the room.

friend room

The room you land in is out of service. You need to supply electricity. To do this, climb the stairs to the platform above and pull the platform with your hand to create a passage.

Pink cassette (optional)

After you overcome the gap, you can go further to get to the outlet. Before using it, look at the wall on the left. There is a pink video cassette on the blue square. If you wish, you can pick it up and view the recording on a pink VCR.

Platform puzzle

Walk forward to the outlet. Ignore her and follow to the middle of the platform. Turn right to see another part of the platform that you can pull. Pull the platform towards you to shorten the path ?? pillars. Return to the outlet and connect to it. Take the short path and go right to reach the socket where you need to connect the circuit. make a friend

After turning on the power, go back down, press the button on the Make A Friend console in the center of the room to start the equipment in the room. Look to the left of the console and pull the three levers you see on the devices. Wait for the completion of the manufacturing process of all parts, then pick up the finished toy. Place it on the scale near the door that says Nobody leaves without making a toy. The door will open.

Go through the door, prepare for a confrontation. The monster will start chasing you. Go forward along the dark corridor. The creature will jump out of the darkness. Turn around immediately and run to the end of the conveyor belt where you found your friend. There will be an open door. Go through the ventilation while hiding from Huggy Waggi. At the end of the chase, you will find yourself on a platform with nowhere to go. Above it is a yellow box. Use both hands to pull it down. A monster will appear and a box will fall right on top of it.

ending

Move along the platform to the door with the flower. There is no longer any threat.

Gray cassette (optional)

As you move along the platform, can you pick up the gray one?cassette. She is at the last crossroads that you need to go through to get to the door with the flower. If you want, pick up an item and turn right. Place the cassette in the gray VCR at the end of the platform.
