After selecting a difficulty level, you’ll encounter a sigil. Activate it by selecting the blood-marked symbols. You’ll start as Mia. Step out of the car and interact with Loopy, your dog. Speak with Sam to gather information about Verity, Mia's father, and then with Agatha to learn about her involvement with the Order. Proceed along the path between Sam and Agatha to discover Verity’s car.

Inspect the trunk for a gun case. Afterward, check the open door to retrieve Verity’s driver’s license. Continue to the wooden gate, where you'll spot a small hole in the fence. Switch to Loopy to pass through and open the gate. Proceed to the mansion’s entrance, then head left to find the basement. Behind some cans, there’s a crate containing ammunition where you can practice shooting.

In the basement, turn left to pick up a crowbar from the table. Beware: a corpse will reanimate and attack. Defeating it unlocks new dialogue with Agatha. Use the crowbar to break the crates by the door for more ammo. Additional supplies, including a first aid kit, are in crates at the bottom of the screen. Check the table where you found the first aid kit for an encrypted letter.

Switch your flashlight to UV mode to reveal hidden text on the back of the letter. The right-side door is locked, so head upstairs to the main entrance. A zombie blocks your path; eliminate it. Finishing off zombies permanently prevents their return. Use the crowbar to unlock the mansion’s entrance.

Inside, shine the UV light on a photo to reveal glyphs on the family portrait. Collect a first aid kit from the restroom. Listen to the recorder on the coffee table, which reveals that the Strach family once owned the mansion. Examine nearby photos and grab ammo from shelves near the stairs.

Proceed past the stairs into the large living room, eliminating the zombies. Behind them, you’ll find Agent Calisto Besatt’s file. Enter the left-side door, smashing boxes to obtain the Perimeter mission briefing and another first aid kit. Listen to a recorder on the table, then use the UV flashlight on the wall for a new dialogue option with Samuel. A locked door sits at the room’s top, but you’ll need to go down and left to enter the kitchen.

Inside the kitchen, kill the zombie and collect ammo near the microwave. Shine the UV light on a calendar and inspect the fridge. Exit into the adjacent room with a piano.

Examine the book on the podium after killing a zombie. Check the recorder on the stool and a child’s drawing on the bench. On the counter near the door, find eyeballs, and at the room’s bottom, a drawing illustrating the most effective way to kill zombies. Return to the hallway, then head to the living room and into the pantry, passing the clock.

Here, collect a mansion map. Using the UV flashlight will reveal clues. Inspect the strange lock on the door for a dialogue with Samuel, then check the radio equipment. Speak with Samuel and Agatha. After grabbing the first aid kit and petting Loopy, head upstairs for clues to the upgraded lock.

Kill the zombies and inspect the grandfather clock without touching anything. An alarm will sound; check it but avoid interacting. On the left, examine photos before entering the master bedroom.

Eliminate the zombies and retrieve the bloody knife. Listen to a recording and inspect scattered photos and diagrams, focusing on symbols. Note these shapes: a hexagon, two circles, and a circle with a downward triangle. One diagram shows the grandfather clock with a question mark. Exit the room, turn right to find a locked door with a scrawled note. Use the UV light to reveal the clue about the Strachs’ vision time. Enter the room behind you—Yuri’s bedroom.

At the table by the window, read Yuri’s diary. The last pages, under UV light, reveal clues about Tiana playing the piano at the vision's exact hour. Examine a crumpled note near the bed. Exit to the left-side bathroom for a first aid kit, then head to Goliath’s bedroom near the alarm clock set to 4:00.

Skulls litter the room. Check notes on the floor and table. Use the crowbar to create an entry for Loopy through a hole in Tiana’s bedroom wall. Ignore the ghost playing the piano and open the landing door. Return as Mia to Tiana’s bedroom.

On the balcony, observe distant flames in the forest. Examine the sheet music "Memoria Timoris" under UV light, revealing clock symbols. Search for the Memoria Timoris record; its UV markings point to "III". So far: IV for hours, III for minutes. At the grandfather clock, UV light shows IV as a hexagon and III as a circle with scribbles. Return to the Advanced Lock downstairs and input: hexagon, scribbled circle, circle with triangle. Head to the basement.

Clear zombies along your path. The basement’s previously locked door is now accessible. In a room covered in black notes, eliminate the zombies and examine central papers. Write down the marked symbols and back-side markings. The game will glitch, returning you to the starting sigil puzzle.

Now, as Verity, Mia’s father, retrace Mia’s path to the basement, killing zombies. Enter the final room where Mia was last seen and prepare for a boss fight with Calisto.

Maintain distance while attacking Calisto, who teleports and summons a tornado. Counter his moves, approach, and stab him. Verity will collapse, carried away by an unknown figure.
