Walkthrough Candleman: The Complete Journey

Section 1: What makes a candle burn

The game is divided into several main sections, which, in turn, consist of separate episodes. Each section is one unique location, and the first will be the hold of the old ship.


Your task in each level is to get to the blue glow in order to complete it. In addition, you can set fire to various candles. Before each level and in the pause menu, you can see how many candles you need to light. If you manage to light all the candles, then the level will be 100% completed, and at the end of it you will see the continuation of the phrase.

In addition, each level has one large candle - light it to activate the checkpoint. This is where you will spawn if you die. Otherwise, at the very beginning.


Your candle may die if it falls into the abyss or smolders. Don't use the CTRL key too often to light a candle. Do this in extreme cases, if you really can’t see anything ahead or you need to light another candle.

TIP . I highly recommend increasing the screen brightness to the maximum. This will significantly reduce the number of invisible areas and minimize the use of fire.

As soon as you appear on the location, then turn around and go in the opposite direction, down the screen. You don't have to use light. In the end, you will run into a box - turn left and go until you find a mirror and a candle (1/9).


Set fire to it and move back. Above the place where you appeared, there is another candle (2/9). Light it up and then notice the chain in the right corner (to the right of the last candle). Jump on this chain to climb up. On the box, find the third candle (3/9), then run up and jump over to the adjacent box on the left to find another candle (4/9).

Jump down and get to the thick candle. Light it to activate the checkpoint and then light the fifth candle (5/9). located to the left and above the previous one.


Go right until you see a small hole with water. Jump into it and push the round wooden raft forward towards the far crate. Jump on the edge of the raft so that the opposite edge rises up. Run up and jump onto the box. There you will find another candle (6/9).

Follow back, but do not rush to move to the right. Walk down the screen to the front to find the seventh candle (7/9) on the edge of the crates.


Now go to the right and look for a candle (8/9) under a wooden board at an angle. Climb up the plank and light the last candle (9/9), then enter the blue portal.

Get to a large square box covered with a tarp. Ahead you will see barrels, one of which has a third candle (3/8). You should not rush, because in the lower right corner of this box there is another candle (4/8).

Jump onto the board hanging on the chain. Stand on the right edge so that the left one rises as high as possible. Run to the left side and jump on the top crate to light the candle (5/8). Do the same, but stand on the left edge to run and jump onto the crate on the right. Go forward along the board and light a thick candle - checkpoint .

Walk forward along the board and light the candle (6/8) on the left. Go to the right side, light the seventh candle (7/8) and go forward to the box and the blue portal located behind it. The box will move and you will have to look for a workaround.

Jump onto the board on the left, stand on the right edge, and take a running jump onto the box on the left. Light the last candle (8/8) and then jump onto the chain ahead. Walk forward and jump onto the chain below. Follow it to the portal.

At the beginning of the level, jump onto the hanging box on the right and light the candle (1/10). Jump even more to the right to light the second candle (2/10). Do not rush to return, but move even more to the left, jumping onto the swinging board. Stand on the right side. When the board moves to the left, run in the same direction and jump on the box with the candle (4/10).

From the rightmost crate, when it swings to the right, jump in the same direction to light a candle (5/10). Next, jump on two swinging boxes, but be careful - swinging chains can block your path. Jump to the far box and light a thick candle - checkpoint .

Go to the edge of the board so that the screen changes and you are shown a box from below. Jump on it and stop. First you need to wait for the box to move all the way to the left, and jump in the same direction to light the sixth candle (6/10). After that, use the box to jump to the right to the seventh candle (7/10).

Move forward and you will see a barrel. Don't worry - she can't crush a candle. Run past her to the ledge ahead, jump on it and even higher to light a candle (8/10). From this ledge, jump onto the barrel when it is next to you. As soon as she rides to the left, move to the right so as not to fall off the barrel. On the left side, you need to jump from the barrel onto the box with the ninth candle (9/10). Go even further, jump on the barrel near the blue portal??, and from it - to the box with the last candle (10/10). Enter the blue portal.

Bonus phrase : and decided, no matter what, to continue on my way aimlessly.

Until I reached the iron gate

Jump on the box to the right, and from it - even more to the right to the first candle (1/9). Move forward by jumping on other crates and light the second candle (2/9). On the left side on the hill there is a third candle (3/9), but to get to it, you need a round wooden raft. It is located next to you, in the opposite direction. Jump over it and then push it forward. After pushing to the left and from any side of the hill, jump onto it with the help of a raft. You need to stand on its far edge so that the opposite one (which is next to the ledge) rises.

Move forward, jump on the barrels and light the candle (4/9) on the crate beyond them. Next, jump onto the crate with the wooden platforms on the right. Push one of them to the right side, to the barrel. Jump onto the barrel, from it - to another, where there is a candle (5/9). Go back a little and jump on the wooden rafts forward. From the barrel, jump onto the ledge further.

Before jumping onto moving boxes, light a thick candle - checkpoint .

Jump onto the boxes, move around them, choosing the right position (so you don't get pushed down by the chains). After the second bunch of chains, you need to jump to the ledge on the left. Light your candle periodically so you don't miss it. Light the sixth candle here (6/9). Move on the boxes further and jump to the barrel on the left. Climb up and light the seventh candle (7/9).

Finally, you will reach an iron door. There are two candlesticks (8/9 and 9/9) located to the left and right of it. There are also three buttons with symbols in front of the door. See what symbols are shown on the door itself, and then press the buttons in the appropriate order. This will end the first section.
