On February 7, 2019, a free demo version of Devil May Cry 5 became available on PlayStation Network and Xbox Live. The duration of the trial version is about 15-20 minutes, depending on how quickly you overcome the area and how soon you defeat Goliath.

The first thing that catches your eye is the presence of Nero's mechanical hand, called the "Devil's Scourge". The principle of leveling up the character has remained the same: to unlock new tricks, strikes and buy consumable items (charges for the Devil Breaker), you will have to collect red orbs. After the introductory video, go forward a little and destroy the cluster of red orbs on the right to get the first currency. Go through the shopping alley and learn the different tricks that the game tells you about. On the left, there will be another cluster of red orbs. Go ahead and go down the stairs to other orbs, then turn left,to face the first enemies.

Here you will learn about the application of the Devil Breaker. For a normal attack, click on the "circle". This move does not consume a charge of Devil Breaker, but if you take damage during the strike, the charge will be consumed. You can also use a powerful charged attack. To do this, hold the "circle" for a few seconds. You will deal a lot of damage, but the Devil Breaker charge will be used up.

Don't forget to use target lock (left analogue click). After the victory, go forward, pick up the Gerbera and destroy the shoots. Along the way, you will pick up a green orb that allows you to restore health points.

Enter inside the building, and after loading, fight other monsters. After getting outside, jump down and defeat new opponents, including flying creatures. Go along the right street and on the left you will find a passage blocked by tree roots. You need a Nidhogg Hatchling to destroy the Demon Tree Root. The obstacle is on the left, and you go past it forward and turn into the alley on the left. Kill the enemies and at the very end, look for a process, fromwhich you can pull out the larva. Go back and use it on the barrier.

Follow the only path until you find the first phone booth. Call Niko's van to spend the Red Orbs you've collected. Soon you will reach the tower along this route, where you will be attacked by the red-hot colossus Goliath.

At the beginning of the battle, you will fight from above. Attack the enemy, remembering to dodge his sweeping blows. When the boss has about 80% of his health left, he will destroy the floor and you will find yourself inside the cathedral. Keep dodging and, if possible, attack the enemy from behind. When the monster starts to suck everything around, just move around the location and stay away from him.

As soon as he has half of his maximum health points left. In the open air, attack the boss and dodge until he starts screaming, spreading his paws in different directions. Run back quickly, because after a while there will be an explosion. To defeat the enemy, you can use the charged attack of the Devil Breaker.
