How to pass Draugen

The first day

Watch the intro video until the heroes arrive at the shore. Point Alice to the Fretland farm. You can let the girl go or ask her to stay with you. However, she will run anyway. Examine the letter from the Freelands addressed to Edward, the protagonist of the game, who is looking for his sister Betty. Go inside the house, as no one will open the door. Follow the living room on the left. Examine the family photo that Alice will be looking at. Look through the window to see a church in the distance. You can examine the burnt book in the fireplace and read the note on the table. Examine another photo on the wall of twins marrying twins. Go to the next room to find out about the business of the Fretland brothers. They owned the mine. In May 1902, Johan sold his share, in July a tragic incident occurred. Their younger brother Arne died in a blocked mine. Get to the closet with the mannequin, where Edward will find Betty's scarf. When you wake up, leave the house and follow the sound, climbing over the fence and the log. Climb up with the goggles and get to the pier where you will meet Alice. Talk on all topics, after which the day will come to an end.

Second day

Council . When the corresponding prompt appears, then press the F key to communicate with Alice, who is standing nearby. Do this whenever you don't know where to go next. Go to the porch and chat with Alice. You can sit on the well on the right so that Edward draws the nearest barn. The drawing will appear in the protagonist's journal (opened with the J key). Get down from the house and find Alice on the tree on the right. She will call out to you. Press F and talk to the girl. She will say that you need to check the nearest houses. Walkthrough Draugen Go right. There is no one in the house on the left. Enter the house on the right and examine the note in the bedroom on the right. You will learn about the death of children in Grovik. Look at the house on the left. There is no one in the three houses. Talk to Alice and go forward to the fence. Open and follow the path uphill. Examine the ad to the right of the church with the cemetery. Examine the graves and chat with Alice. Several people were buried at the same time, but by whom and why? You can sit on the rock on the right (fence) and draw a church. Enter the church itself and you will see boarded up boards, and on them is a note "God is not here." Walkthrough Draugen Follow back to the estate and go down even lower along the path on the left. Sit on a wooden bench to draw a new picture. Go down even lower to the pier and see the only store in the city, Fretland and Son. Examine the sign above the door and the photo outside the window. On the board on the left is a poster for a memorial service for a tragedy that happened 20 years ago. It also states that the telegraph and the ferry do not work. Go down to the pier, examine the rope with which the boat was fixed. Also crouch on the wooden box on the side to draw a new sketch. Examine the rails, minecart and the inscription on the stone. Go in the direction where rails are directed, and you will see a closed gate with a warning that strangers are not allowed to pass in. If you did everything described above (explored the surroundings), then Alice will offer to inspect the store again. Examine it. talk to Alice, then straighten the chair, climb on it and untie the noose around the neck to bury the body. After a while you will find yourself in the house of the Fretlands. Talk about everything with Alice. Margaret wrote to her sister Anna, trying to persuade the latter to influence Johan and Fredrik. The brothers quarreled after the tragedy in the mine. It is also said that they found something, and Fredrik called half of the neighbors "traitors". It was this word that was written on the door of one of the three residential buildings. The letter was written before the birth of Simon, who is blamed for the death of Ruth, although they tried to burn it right now. Be sure to go up to the second floor and go into the room with the piano. Anna's diary is on the table. Read it, don't forget to turn the page twice. Go into the living room, re-examine the family photo and the partially burned book lying on a chair by the burning fireplace. In the next room, take another look at the photo of the brothers at the mine. You will understand that Fredrik was angry with Johan even before the incident with Ruth. Go to your room, hang shblunder on the mannequin and go to bed.

Day Three

Waking up, call Alice and go upstairs. Enter Ruth's bedroom and examine it. Look at the drawings on the wall and the book on the chair. You will learn about Draugen, a dead fisherman who comes to life, whose appearance portends death. Examine the bed and then look at the drawing under the table. Take out the box from under the table and find the valuables of the ancient Vikings in it. Soon you will hear a bell ringing. Go to the church and re-examine the note boards. Look through the gap, then break the boards. Walk forward, examine the rope and take Betty's gloves from the bench on the left. Go further and examine the painting on the left. Examine the book on the right, which records the dates of birth and death. Pages torn out. Walkthrough Draugen Alice will point to the first one, and you will find the second behind the partition nearby. In the same place, read the scripture from the Bible and inspect the image??feeling of Jesus. Go in the opposite direction and on the right you will see a hill for the pastor. There is a note with a prayer and a third page from a torn book. The fourth page is lying between the benches. Alice herself will certainly point to her. Insert the pages back into the book and examine all entries. Run out of the church and find a grave with a shovel. Dig it, and then watch the cut-scene. Alice must disappear. Walkthrough Draugen Run after Alice, moving along the path to the house and talking to her. Listen to her near the mansion of Johan and Anna, after which the day will end.

Day four

After waking up, talk to the statue and Alice. Go to the living room and continue the conversation. Next, you need to visit the kitchen, then go upstairs and remove Betty's jacket from the hanger. Go to Ruth's bedroom and continue chatting with Alice (press F). Exit the bedroom. When everyone is gone, go back to the mannequin and hang up the blue coat. Wait for the end of the day. Day five

Waking up, go upstairs and open the only previously locked door. Behind her are you about??discover the bedroom with the dead Anna. Examine her body and then read the note on the table. It was written by Johan, who repented of his sins and was going to fix everything by visiting Fredrik. On the windowsill of the open window, find Betty's lighter. Walkthrough Draugen Leave the house and run to the same gate with a warning. Climb over them and go up the hill to Fredrik's farm. On the spot, inspect the remains of a burnt house, among which there will be a safe. To the left of the large barn there are two graves. Study them. Margaret and Simon of Fretland, wife and son of Fredrik, are buried here. The hero will remember the dates of birth, and you can indicate them on the safe. Enter Simon's birthday and examine the contents of the safe. There will be a Viking artifact, a letter from Boston, documents stating that the mine can be closed if some kind of discovery is found, and the key to the mine. Examine the framed newspaper clipping on the wall and climb out throughwindow. Continue on the only route to the metal door. Examine the tablet on the right and pick up the head from the doll lying on the ground. Go inside and at the very end pick up Betty's brooch. Look through the hole and then run out of the shaft before the ceiling collapses. Go outside and follow the sound of Betty. You will return back to Johan and Anna's house. Go into the room with the mannequin and hang a brooch on it. Watch a lengthy cut-scene that explains the events taking place. In reality, Elizabeth, Edward's sister, died as a little girl by drowning in a pond. All this is the fruit of his sick imagination. [gallery columns="2" ids="7701,7702,7703,7704"]

The final

Get out of bed and go outside with Alice. Leave the yard and you will be at the top. Sit on the rock and talk to the girl. Next comes the boat. Pull it ashore, run to Johan's house and collect a suitcase with things, after pulling out the brooch from the mannequin. Return to the boat and watch the final cut-scene. And at the end of the credits, a message will appear stating that Edward and Alice will be back.
