Walkthrough POLLEN

Let's start the walkthrough of the POLLEN game, which is mainly aimed at owners of virtual reality glasses. But it can be played with a keyboard and mouse, and with a gamepad.


Answer the questions the program asks you. Move the mouse cursor over the A or B button indicating the first or second answer, and then click the left mouse button. After answering all the questions, you can look around. Hold down the Z key to zoom in. You will soon be hired as a process engineer at Station M, located on Titan, Saturn's moon. Confirm the signing of the contract by clicking on button B. Whatever your answers, the contract will be the same.

On the way to the station

You are in your shuttle. Read and listen to your assignment, and then wait for the download to begin.


Communication station base "M"

Kraken Sea, Titan, February 2, 1995.

Move forward and enter a small building - this is a communication station. Turn on the flashlight by pressing the F key. Immediately go around the corner on the right and pull the double red toggle switch to restore the connection. Listen to the message from the inhabitants of the base, as well as from the headquarters. Your new goals are to lower the weather station telescope and get to the base.

Many items can be picked up by clicking on them with the left mouse button. If they do not carry any information, then in this case they can be used as a throwing "weapon". Throw items by clicking the left mouse button or pressing the E key. Examine the photo. Rotate items? Hold down the right mouse button while picking up an object, and then move the mouse. To read any inscriptions, hold down the Q key.


Go outside and go left to the edge of the cliff. Find the green button here. Click on it and wait for the elevator to arrive. Get on the lift and press another green button. After going down, go up the stairs to the left and you will see the telescope of the weather station. There is a valve here. Turn it counterclockwise until the hint disappears. The telescope will be assembled to the knob on its top.

Climb down and walk along the metal bridge. Use SHIFT to accelerate and SPACE to jump. Soon your helmet will start to crack. Get to some panels blocking the way. The control panel will be on the left side. Pull the lever to lower the panels. Go to the door and turn the handle from the bottom to the right. Go inside and opposite the next door, a little to the left, if you are facing, pull another lever on the control panel.


Inside the base

What happened here? Walk forward and to the right. Is the helmet jumping on the floor? Nearby is a jumpsuit with an access card on it. Pick her up. She belongs to a female physicist with an A2 access level. By pressing the TAB key, you can always open your inventory. Right now, only this access card is in inventory. The front door is closed. Pick up the bouncing helmet by left-clicking. A prompt will appear telling you to right-click. Click and hold the right mouse button, and then rotate the helmet so that you look at its glass covering the face. A strange energy from a crack in this glass will begin to envelop you. Wait until you move... in time?

In the past or the future?

Opposite the door, which was and remains locked, lies a box. There is a tape recorder on the box. Press the PLAY button and listen to the audio recording. Go in the opposite direction from where you came here from the street. At the doorway, look under your feet and pick up an audio cassette . It will go into your inventory.


Follow the exit and you will see that the location has changed. You seem to be in outer space. Look under your feet and find a sign with the Open, Close buttons. There was a sign like that on the door in the jumping helmet room, remember? The door was closed. After picking up this sign, return to the locked door. Click on the empty space on the door where such a panel should be. You will automatically set the panel in place, the green button will light up. Click the left mouse button to open the door.

You can go back in time using the same helmet. But having done this, you will again see a locked door in front of you. So don't go back just yet. Go to the huge hall. There is something glowing at the bottom, but don't rush to go there. Move to the left and near the door on the left hand find another audio cassette . Go further past the door, go down and go behind the column in the center. Find another player on the box. After listening to the recording, you can pick up the audio cassette by clicking on the "Eject" button on the left side. Go back upstairs to the door near which they found the cassette.


Go through this door and immediately open another door ahead.

Residential team apartments

You will find yourself in the apartments of the M base team on Titan. There is another audio cassette on the table on the right. There is also a photograph and a magazine that you can view and read. To the right is the kitchen area. Another photograph hangs on the wall - a useless little thing. The door nearby is locked, and the orange OFFLINE button is lit.

On the other side of the table, there is some kind of hatch on the wall. Turn the handle and open the hatch. There is a huge bag in the mine that you can hit and nothing more. Go to another part of the apartment and immediately pick up the WELCOME sign on the floor. It will be in your inventory...

In this part there is a training room. There are several photographs and notes scattered about. You will learn that Karen Kowalski was here. I'm sure I got here just like you. Her husband, Patrick, is dead. The woman can't get out of here. We should look for her! There are two audio cassettes - one on the table and the other on the mat. Also look for a player on the box. You can just insert audio cassettes into this player and listen to Karen's messages. To eject an audio cassette, press the left button when playback ends or you stop it.

Go to the door that is locked. Where the brown light with the inscription OFFLINE is lit. On the right side of the wall there is an electrical panel cover, glued with two pieces of adhesive tape. Peel off these two pieces at the top of the lid to open the panel. You will see five colored wires. Disconnect the red and yellow (brown), then pull out and reconnect the green wire to the green socket. The door should open. If this does not happen, then try disconnecting the second wire from top to bottom and then reconnect the green cable to the socket of the same color.

Find a couple more audio cassettes - one on the floor by the steps, and the other on the table below. To the right, above, a magazine jumps on the floor. Pick it up, hold down the right mouse button and turn the back side to see the crack.

Go down to the table and find two floppy disks with filmstrips. There is also a projector on the table. To the right of it is a device where you need to insert diskettes. Open it by pressing the red button and then use both filmstrips from inventory. Turning on the light, press the buttons near which the lights are on. You will see one frame for each filmstrip. Pick up another plastic employee card near the suit on the floor, and then exit into the living quarters through the door.

Go to the kitchen corner and take the employee's plastic card from the table. Check out the photos. On the table in the center of the room, find the blueprint, which will go into your inventory. What or whom did the station staff try to destroy?

Climb the stairs to the top, where the living rooms of the employees are located. You have three cards and can visit the room of Ion Lem, Philip Paul and Karen. In Ion Lem's room, find two audio cassettes and other documents. In Philip's room, in the cabinet to the left of the entrance (immediately by the door), there is a key B on a shelf. Take it! Behind the certificates on the window, find the audio cassette. Finally, find them in Karen's room - two audio cassettes. Go to the gym and find a couple more audio cassettes. There will also be a player if you need it. It is also in the room of Ion Lem. You do not have access to the rooms of Vasily and Amanda Paul, because you did not find their cards.

Exit back to the huge hall through two doors (returning back from where you originally came from). In this time, everything is whole and unharmed (practically). Instead of descending on the left, you can find an elevator. Ride it down and pay attention to the passage inland. You can't go there because there is water on the floor, which is electrified by the red cable. Climb back. There are four doors, three of which are open. The door to the laboratory is locked. The doors to the cargo hold, living quarters and to the exit are open. The last two doors have already been tested by you, so go to the cargo bay (CARGO BAY).

Open the door ahead and you will see that the passage is blocked by a huge container. On the right, under the container, you can see another form of an employee and, most likely, his plastic card is lying there. But how to get here?

Return to the common room and in front of the cargo bay door, find the elevator. Once on it, click on the green button on the left to go down. On the left side there is a passage to the laboratory, which is blocked by water with a lowered electric cable. You need to pump out this water or turn off the electricity.

To the right of the lift is the first blue pump with two cylinders A and B. A little further there is a second such pump, but there are no cylinders on it. These cylinders are scattered on the floor. Install the cylinder with the letter A in the hole with the same letter. Do the same with the cylinder on which the letter B is written. After that, press the green button on the pump. Congratulations, you pumped out the water.

Laboratory

Go to the laboratory through the corridor, where there is no electrified water now. You will enter the hall. Ahead is a huge door. In front of it there is a remote control with three holes. You have a green key B that you can insert into the appropriate hole. We need to find two more keys!

The door on the right leads to the medical bay. The room is small. In it you can find a player, an audio cassette and several documents and books.

There is an elevator on the left (if you look at the locked door in the center). Climb up and see two doors. First, open the far door, thanks to which you can get into the hall where the water was pumped out. Previously, you saw this door from the other side and it was locked. Finally, another door in the lobby of the laboratory leads to the control room. After climbing the stairs, you can go to the control room ahead, where the lights are off, or inspect the door to the reactor on the right, which is blocked.

Return to the laboratory hall and to the right of the huge door that opens with three keys, find the scientist's suit. Vasily Romanchek's plastic permit is lying on the suit. Pick it up. You can visit his room in the living quarters, but apart from documents, you will not find anything useful there. If you walk up to the suit where you found the plastic clearance, you may notice some hesitation. There is an item here that moves you in time. But you can't find it! It is possible that this item is located under the fallen cabinet near the suit. But how to get to it?

Climb on the lift available here to the second tier. Go past the door to the control room and the one that leads to the hall with pumped water. On the left side there will be a laser control panel! She is what you need. Now let's try to get rid of the closet. Examine the panel. First lower or raise the red lever at the leftmost point. The laser will turn on. Turn the red valve clockwise to rotate the laser beam so that it is above the cabinet. To the left of the red valve will be a lever with a down arrow. There are two of them. Lower the right lever, which is closer to the valve. The laser beam will not cut this cabinet, but will move it after itself.

Climb down and pick up your boot. Rotate it to see the cut and move through time.

Past or Future… Laboratory

You can look around. If you go up on the lift, then the exit to the hall with the pumped out water will be blocked. The passage to the control room is impossible due to the destroyed stairs, which is visible behind the door. In the medical bay, you can find a couple of audio cassettes and various notes about the crew of the "M" station on Titan.

What to do? Use the laser again! Climb up to the laser control panel and point it in such a way as to destroy the rotating large fan, where the glowing fog is visible. The red toggle switch at the leftmost point of the control panel turns on the laser, the red valve turns it around the perimeter of the room, and the levers raise or release it. You need to point the beam right at the center of all the blades to destroy the fan.

Climb up to the ventilation on the stairs that are smaller. Follow through the mine to the left, without turning anywhere else, because the paths are blocked everywhere. Is there something glowing in the distance? Sneak closer and pick up the jump collar. Rotate it so you can see the glowing dot. You will return in time.

The present

Turn around and move to the other side. In the first or second turn on the left there will now be an open passage. Follow there and jump down. Now move in a straight line to the very end, where there will be a metal staircase to the left of the dead end. After rising, turn the handle on the door to get into the room with the reactor.

Reactor

Approach the screen on the right, where you can see several green lights and two red ones. The red lights flash in the second zone. Look at the control panels with toggle switches and buttons below the screen. The panel is divided just into four zones. Stand at panel #2. Pay attention to the indicators above the buttons, where there are red arrows. You need to make sure that all these arrows are in the extreme right position, at the maximum.

By clicking on one of the three buttons under the monitor with a red arrow, you select one or another monitor. On the left monitor, the arrow should already be at its maximum extreme position. Select the middle monitor and turn the toggle switches to the left. If they are already turned all the way to the left, then turn a little clockwise, and then rotate counterclockwise. Finally, select the right monitor by clicking on the right button. Here the arrow will increase to the maximum by rotating the toggle switch clockwise. If everything is done correctly and the red arrows are in their extreme positions, then, firstly, you will see the save icon, and, secondly, the flashing red lights will turn off.

control room

Thanks to this, the lights in the control room and in the cargo hold now turned on. How to get into the cargo compartment, the path to which is blocked by a container? Follow the control room and you will see that there is a panel near the window on the left. With this panel, you can control the crane with a magnet. First, turn on the monitor by pressing the red button. Next, use the handle with the round tip to move the faucet across the ceiling. The entrance to the cargo hold is on the left. You should be able to see a container blocking the path from here. On the monitor, you can see where the crane is looking.

There is a lever next to the handle - it lowers or raises the magnet on the crane. More to the left there is a yellow button. If the button is lit, then the magnet is working and attracting metal objects. Activate the magnet and lower it. You may first need to move the containers to the right a little near the entrance. To reset them, turn off the magnet. Later, move the container blocking the entrance to the cargo hold.

Having done this, return to the hall with four doors and go to the cargo hold. Just outside the entrance is a dead body, which has a note and the last plastic card belonging to Amanda Paul. You can go to the residential apartments and open her room. There will be various entries, but nothing more.

In the cargo hold, go to the back and go up the stairs to the left. There are two yellow cars here. You can only enter on the right side. So do it. Find the red key A on the seat. On the right there are two audio cassettes at once. Go back to the laboratory hall and insert the red key into the appropriate socket. It remains to find the blue key C!

Key C

Go to the medical compartment, which is to the right of the panel where all these colored keys are inserted. There are two tables on the right here. On the side of the tables are small bedside tables. On the shelf of one of these nightstands, in a conspicuous place, lies the blue key C. Take it. On the shelf of another nightstand you can find a coin , but it does nothing important. You can go to the living quarters and throw a coin into the vending machine to buy something. Here you can also find floppy disk number 5 from the filmstrip. By the way, another filmstrip is located in the study of the living compartment. You need to move the stairs a little against the wall with shelves and find a floppy disk on one of them. But it doesn't matter now.

Opening the door with three keys

Insert all three keys into the panel in front of the door. Turn them and then pull the lever on the right. Having opened the passage, go forward, climb onto the lift and press the green button. After going down, follow through the door. Move through the cave and, in the end, you will see a huge luminous object. Go to the edge where the suit lies, apparently belonging to Karen. Pick up the flower from the costume and start spinning it until it crumbles.

And then you just need to move through incomprehensible objects until the cut-scene starts. This part of the game is just the same more focused on the owners of a virtual reality helmet.
