Waking up, pick up the letter lying in front of the main character, and move forward along the only path. In the other direction, you can not go, because there is nothing interesting there. Climb up the cliff, jumping and pushing off the wall so that a huge inscription with the name of the location appears on the screen.

pereberush over the ledge and hide in the tall grass. Move between it to hide from opponents, since there is nothing to fight with yet. Follow to a small hut where you can eavesdrop on the conversation of the soldiers. Leave the house on the other side and eavesdrop on the soldiers on the bridge.

You will learn that you cannot enter the tower through the door, because it is locked. You will also learn about a hole in the wall on the side of the cliff. The way out is obvious: you need to get through this hole. Hang from the ledge to the left of the bridge and climb up until you reach an opening where a cutscene will start.

You will meet a new character for the first time and receive the sword of the main character - Kusabimaru. Now you can fight. Chat with the Divine Heir again to get a flask of medicine, and then go upstairs to find a healing pill. Now you need to find a hidden passage under the bridge in order to escape from here with your ward. After restoring health points, use the door to get outside and kill the first enemies. The first of them can be killed stealthily by sneaking up from behind.

Follow the path to the left and kill other opponents. It is easy to do this, it is enough to block blows and counterattack in time. At some point, you will reach the first mini-boss, which will have two parts of the health bar. There shouldn't be any difficulties. Counterattack and quickly defeat the enemy. By collecting items, you can restore health points.

After the victory, go along the path to the right of the door in front of which the enemy was, and move along the only path, picking up a handful of ashes. You will see a bridge and two paths. One of them leads up the bridge, and the other - down from it. Follow the upper path to hang off the bridge. Eavesdrop on opponents, kill enemies under the bridge and jump to the other side.

Jump down a few times, picking up useful items until you reach a door with a hidden passage. Whistle to call the heir and go through a small cave that leads into the field. There will be a very strong enemy - Lord Genichiro. You will not be able to defeat him, because the defeat of the protagonist is conceived by the plot of the game. It is here that ourthe character will lose his arm. After the cut-scene, the chapter will be completed.

Outskirts of Ashina

When you wake up, you will find yourself in the Ruined Temple, where you will meet the Carver. It was he who created a mechanical prosthesis for a lost arm. Explore everything in the area, chat with the Carver inside and Emma outside the building. Exit the temple, go to the right and meet the Immortal eccentric. He is ready to train you in martial arts. Use it if you wish.

Leave the temple grounds through the gate next to the Sculptor's idol. This idol is used to quickly save and move in the game. However, in the future you will be able to strengthen your own character here. There will be an abyss ahead, and you will have to use the grappling hook for the first time (F key). Moving from above, you can attack enemies from behind. Always try to check all available routes to collect useful items.

Having crossed another abyss, activate the new Sculptor's idol - the outskirts of Ashina. Walk forward killing enemies, jump inside the buildingwith a gate blocking the path to find a shuriken wheel. This is Wolf's first prosthetic instrument. You can use the nearby idol to return to the Ruined Temple and install the tool on the prosthesis.

Behind this building, another mini-boss awaits you - warlord Naomori Kawarada. Dodge his attempts to capture, as indicated by the red hieroglyph. There are three types of dangerous attacks. From captures you need to evade, longitudinal blows - to jump, crushing attacks - to block. As soon as you defeat the boss, you will receive beads for a rosary (four of these items increase the health of the main character) and a pumpkin seed. Each seed given to Emma increases the number of medicine flasks that you can carry with you.

Follow the path through the open area and fight the enemies. Then take the left path to find a strange woman inside the ruined building. Chat with her. She believes that the Wolf is her son. One way or another, the woman will give you the bell of Mr. Kuro, your master. It can be installedGo to the altar in the Sculptor's house in the Ruined Temple to unlock access to a new location. We will visit it later, but for now we propose to deal with the outskirts of Ashina. By the way, ten meters from the old woman lies her wounded son. You can talk to him. He will thank his mother for his help.

Keep moving along the path until you find a wall on which an enemy with a cannon is standing. Turn left and use the capture points to use the hook to climb up and find the merchant in the tent. Is it also related to unlocking department??nogo achievements. Buy or sell items as needed. Here you can buy a firecracker, which is another tool for the Wolf prosthesis. Kill all the enemies, including the villain with the cannon, and you will find a new Sculptor idol behind the gate.

Soldiers are chatting a few steps away from the idol. Eavesdrop on their conversation to learn about the weakness of the red-eyed beast. Kill them, go up the stairs and see a giant in shackles. The fight with him is unmissable. While he is chained, have time to land a few unanswered blows. Soon he will break free. Dodge his attacks to the sides and hit a maximum of two times. Repeat the process over and over. You can use firecrackers to stun the enemy. They could be bought from the merchant listed above. After winning the battle, you will receive the passive skill "Shinobi Medicine Level 1".

This skill increases the effectiveness of using medicine flasks. You will also be given another rosary bead. After the fight, grab the hole in the wall to get into the building. Nearby lies another pumpkin seed. Must pass?? him to Emma to get another charge to the medicine flasks.

Once on the other side, you can kill the next mini-boss of Warlord Tenzen Yamauchi or go around him. After killing an enemy, you will receive a rosary bead. Kill simple opponents, run back and hide. Then attack him one on one. You can sneak up from behind and deliver the first of the two required killing blows. Dodge, parry and hit him.

On the right there is an additional area. There is a passage to a dark cave where you have to fight Headless. You won't be able to defeat him right now, so don't waste your time fighting.

Return to the place where you fought against Tenzen Yamauchi. At the end of the path there is a destroyed bridge and an abyss. Climb down the ledges to the left to find the Sculptor's Idol. Jump there using the branch below. Jump to the other side to find a huge snake. Jump down when he turns away and hide in the grass. When the snake turns away again, then jump over to the other side and hide in the cave.

Inside it, hide in another grass, walk along the cliff along the thin edge and hide in the cart. When the snake approaches her, then attack him on the eye. Take your chance and leave this place by finding another Sculptor's Idol at the gates of Ashina Castle.

Follow the only path to find a closed door. Instead of going there, you can jump over the wall to reach a spacious field. Here you have to fight with a full-fledged boss of the game.

Gebu Masataka Oniwa is a samurai driving a horse and trying to attack you with a huge spear. The best way to defeat him is to block attacks until he hits hard. You will understand exactly what is at stake. Dodge this move in time to land a few retaliatory strikes. Another option to land your own hits is to keep your distance from the boss and wait for the green grappling icon to appear. Activate the hook to get close to the boss and hit him. When you defeat him, you will receive Gebu's memory. Be sure to view it in the Sculptor's idol to power up your character.

As soon as you pass through the gate, you will leave the Ashina Outskirts location and go to Ashina Castle. You can go straight there or visit the additional location Hirata Manor by placing the bell you received from the woman on the altar. We recommend that you go there first.

Ashina Castle

Turn around and you will see steps leading up to the battlefield with Gebu. Climb up there, enter the building and talk to a man named Tenga. He promises a reward if you kill the "rats" at the castle gates. You can climb up the beams to get to the attic of the building. There is a chest with a rosary bead.

Head outside, move through the gate ahead, and up the archway of the blocked gate. On the right there are fields where there are small opponents. These are the same "rats". Defeat the three "rats", then return to Tenga and talk to him to receive your reward. You will unlock a new Ashina skill line that can be purchased from the Carver Idol.

Near the place where Tenga is located, around the corner on the left, you can find a merchant's tent. A pumpkin seed for 1000 sen appeared in his assortment.

When you get outside, kill the opponents, and then get to the room with the wooden wheel. Pull the rope next to him to make an elevator appear. Stand on the platform and pull on another rope. Climbing up to the temple, activate the new idol and get out.

Use the idol to return to the previous Shugendo. Go right again and jump towards the mountain. Climb up the boards to the top. This time you don't have to jump off the cliff. Instead, jump up and grab the ledge with your hands. Move even higher and you can reach the wooden bridge you saw earlier. Kill the Knight in Armor by throwing him off the bridge and go through it. By the way, before the bridge, you can go to the edge of the cliff with a lot of weather vanes and pick up a red and white flower.

From here, move to the closed courtyard, where you can kill a lot of enemies. Along the way, you will activate the Temple Court idol. You can also jump into the water and find a chest with a rosary bead at a depth. Kill the enemies in the courtyard, jump over the wall to get to the other side, and climb up in?up the slope. You will have to find a fire with monks. You can turn onto the path on the right to go down to the building with a hole in the wall. In the back room, where you can get through the beams under the ceiling, there will be a centipede mini-boss. But in the same place you will find a new prosthesis and a pumpkin seed (or a rosary bead).

Move on until you reach the main temple. Chat with the old man sitting in front of the altar and many statues. He will give you the chapter "Worm eaten".

IMPORTANT . Only if you have killed Genichiro at the top of Ashina Castle will it be possible to interact with the altar. There will be a bell. Hit him to move to the halls of darkness. Here you need to kill four monkeys, one of them is invisible. As soon as you are here, take a couple of steps forward, turn around and see the footprints of the invisible monkey. She follows you around. Just swing your sword where you stood by default and you can kill her. The rest of the monkeys will have to catch up and hit. Ideally, you should move stealthily to sneak up on the monkeys from behind and stab them in the back. Or you need to predict their movements.

After killing all the monkeys, you can return to the real world and find the real temple. Talk to the girl inside. Can you show her the worm eaten chapter?? received from a monk from the temple.

Return to the monk at the beginning of the location and give him the red and white flower. This will lure him into an abandoned dungeon. He will be in the clutches of a man in a white coat. If you did this, then return to the character and talk to get a reward. If you give him a white flower, he will ask to be kidnapped. But the trick with luring into the cave will no longer work.

Also, the girl you've been chatting with recently will give you rice. Give it to the old woman in the middle of the location. She will say that you need to use the weather vane to get to the fresh fruit. Later we will tell you how to do it.

Ashina Castle and Sunken Valley

Return to Ashina Castle and go to Mr. Kuro's room. There is a note on the floor, and Kuro himself is in the room on the left, in the library. Talk to him. You will learn that two items are needed for the ritual - a womb stone and a lotus flower. You should have already found the womb stone outside the village of Mibu, in the wedding cave after killing the Fallen Nun (for which you also got the opportunity to dive under water). Now you need to find a flower.

Before you leave, pick up the Shrine Key from the floor. Exit to the roof through the window in the library and look down. You will see the gate, which is juststill lead to the Sunken Valley. Go down to this gate. You can jump into the water from the bridge that leads to the exit from the castle grounds to find Headless. Follow down, in the room with the idol, talk to Tengu Ashina. If you have learned Ashina skills, you will receive a new teaching (skill line). Jump to the other side and go down the gorge, killing the enemies. At the very bottom you will find another idol.

To continue the plot from this idol, you need to jump down. If you go the other way and jump onto the wall, you will need to push off and cling to your hands. This path will take you outside, where there will be ghosts and a rosary bead. There is also a reservoir through which you can get into a cave with another Headless.

Continue the story, kill the ghosts and get over to the cave on the right, killing the first shooter. Follow this route while killing other shooters. In the end, you will go down even lower and see a bridge in the distance. After killing the enemies, run up and jump down. Cling to the branches of trees and get to the beginning of the bridge along the rocks. Here you will be attacked by a mini-boss.

After defeating him, run across the bridge, reflecting the shots of opponents with the help of the block. On the other side, kill all the shooters, get over to the mountain on the left and move to the left. This only path will lead you to another cave with aezyanami. Move in the only direction and activate the Bodhisattva Valley idol. A woman sits nearby, who says that there is a snake and dry insides below. Jump to the monkey sitting below. Kill the Guardian Ape, then activate the idol and enter the cave next to it. You will find a Lotus flower.

Together with him, return to Ashina Castle and find the conversation between Owl and Kuro. Further events will determine the ending of the game. We will not write anything else in our walkthrough, however the following sequence of actions is described in detail in the ending guide:
