Risk of Rain 2: How to Unlock All Characters

Without any prior announcements, let alone testing, the full-fledged release of the 3D roguelike Risk of Rain 2 took place on March 28. You have to move through many procedurally generated levels both in solo mode and in co-op up to four people. At the time of writing, there are a total of five different character classes, each with their own strengths and weaknesses. Below we will tell you how to unlock all the heroes of the game.

In addition to the five playable classes, several survivors will be unlocked by default. Some of the characters come from the first game - the hunter, the engineer and the commando, while others are brand new - the mechanic and the Multi-T.

How to open a mechanic in Risk of Rain 2

Condition : spend 10 lunar coins in the market between the worlds.

Lunar coins are a special in-game currency that you do not lose even in case of death. Access to the market between the worlds can be obtained by passing through a randomly generated portal (or by spending a coin at a special statue). To unlock the Mechanic, use 10 Lunar Coins on the altar next to the crystal in which this character is located.

How to open Multi-T in Risk of Rain 2

Condition : complete the "Teleport" event five times.

A very simple task. All you have to do is complete the first location five times. Charge the teleporter and defeat the boss five times.

How to unlock a mercenary in Risk of Rain 2

Condition : Kill yourself on the Obelisk.

Basically, you have to finish the run. Complete all stages without dying and return to the first map. White portals will appear in the Rallypoint Delta. Go through the "heavenly" portal and carefully descend onto the large platform until you reach the Obelisk. Interact with it to explode and make a full circle.

How to unlock the huntress in Risk of Rain 2

Condition : Reach and complete the third teleport event without dying.

To do this, you need to get to the third map without dying and complete the charge/boss sequence. This condition is similar to unlocking a Multi-T, except that you only need to get to the third card once.

How to unlock engineer in Risk of Rain 2

Condition : Complete 30 stages.

As with unlocking Multi-T, you need to complete 30 cards. We are talking about the total number of levels completed, so you do not have to complete 30 different stages in a row. You can die and continue later by completing only the first map 30 times. As long as you fulfill this condition, you will surely unlock the engineer.
