Call Of Duty Black Ops: Cold War Coming Soon

Akin to how Infinity Ward went back to the roots of Modern Warfare, it looks like Treyarch has decided to go back to where Black Ops started...

As is usually the case with the Call of Duty series, information about the new game of the year leaks even before its official announcement. However, Activision has already confirmed that this year there will definitely be a new "cold". According to the tweet, which was subsequently confirmed by Eurogamer, this year's game is called Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. This will be the fifth main game of the Black Ops sub-series, and will likely return to its roots. But we do not know if it will be close to the original Black Ops or if something completely new awaits us.

There have already been references to the Cold War in Call of Duty: Warzone, plans for a battle royale have been reported.

The original Call of Duty: Black Ops was set in the 60s and involved a mission in Vietnam. For Treyarch, that release turned out to be a landmark (the game received many accolades).
