Coming soon to War Thunder: 4+ rating and cartoony graphics for kids

Gaijin Entertainment announces that the age rating of the online military simulator War Thunder is planned to be reduced to 4+, which will expand the audience and attract millions of new fighters to all modes.

To make future tankers, pilots and fleet commanders feel comfortable in War Thunder, a new visual style and an improved physical model are already being prepared for them. The new style will not only attract a new audience to War Thunder, but also pave the way for a possible port of War Thunder to mobile platforms. Testing of the new look of the game, as is customary in War Thunder, will take place in early April in the “Wonderful Turns” event.

The action of "Wonderful Turns" takes place over the bay of Cape Somerset, where the warring clans of the Republic of Air Pirates are fighting. In battle, they use the most colorful equipment - from tiny fighters with a pair of machine guns to powerful triplanes and real air fortresses. The player starts his career with the "Nimble" aircraft, but can upgrade a whole line of air corsairs and contRaband models from the mysterious Stalinia - “Wind Screech”, “Bumblebee”, “Hornet”, “Red Goose”, “Tornado”, “Panther” and “Sly Duck”.

For success in battles, players will be awarded the title “Air Pirate”, and their feedback will be taken into account when adapting the land and sea battles of War Thunder to the new age rating.
