The planet Magalan had a few fairly peaceful years after the events of the first part of ELEX: the old factions disappeared, but new ones took their place. The attempts of the berserkers to restore and terraform the lands began to bear fruit. With the Hybrid's defeat, the Albs no longer pose a threat. However, our hero, Jax, returns and brings the knowledge of a new danger hanging over Magalan. This time, the mission to unite disparate factions will fall on his shoulders in order to fight back the darkness with common forces.
