The third season has finally made it to the Fortnite servers. Epic Games has launched the highly anticipated third season of their free-to-play battle royale game. The cinematic trailer for the new season showcases a "water" theme. The official slogan for this season is Splash Down . In the trailer, we can see that the island will be partially flooded, which will create new interesting places.

The first wave of challenges is already available, which can also include fairly standard ones - for example, you will be asked to find gnomes in Homely Hills, or complete the Aquaman challenge, which in turn will allow you to unlock several new skins. Tasks will be updated weekly on Thursdays, in principle, as usual. They will allow you to quickly level up the Battle Pass, as well as earn a lot of rewards.

As expected, the island map is now submerged to some extent, which drastically changes some areas of the island. Now you need to carefully choose places to sit or build your defensive fortifications. Some locations are completely underwater, while others that were previously at unreachable heightsx, will now be slightly above sea level. To compensate for this, new ways of fast travel have been added to the game, such as using a fishing rod on a live shark.

In addition, with the third season, a new game mechanic was also added to the game: Marauders. They literally collapse on the island and will pose a considerable threat to all participants in the battle.
