All options for the passage "The fall into the Maelstrom" in Cyberpunk 2077

Downfall into the Maelstrom is one of the first story missions in Cyberpunk 2077. There are many options for passing. Let's talk about each!

Should I call Meredith Stout?

Your main goal is to meet and talk to Jackie, but there is an additional one: to call Meredith Stout, a Militech agent.

Extend your hand to the woman, but you will be attacked by her assistants. She will offer a credit card with money for "Bolt" and a virus. And you can pay off Royce with this credit card without spending your money!

You can remove the virus from the chip before you meet Dum-Dum, but Militech will know about it. If Royce takes money from a credit card already without a virus, the building will be stormed by Militech. And you will have to kill not the Maelstrom, but the Militechites. If you don't remove the malware, Royce will detect it while scanning the chip and attack you. So, when you're done with Meredith, take a credit card (or refuse) and go to Jackie.

Meet and talk to him, then enter All Foods by calling the intercom. Make your way through the factory before encountering a character named Dum Dum. He will be nervous as Jackie refuses to sit down. Then Dum-Dum will offer to "drag", n?? you can opt out.

When he shows the drone, both dialogue options will allow you to state that everything is fine. After that, Royce will appear, who will put a gun to V's head.

Should Roy be paid or not?

Note : no matter which option you choose, you will have the option to save the former Maelstrom leader, who will help much later in the game

Pay Royce or not - the main decision that you need to make, on which the rest of the mission depends. If you took a credit chip from Meredith or you already have 10k Eddie saved up, you can pay Royce for the robot. If you use Meredith's chip, Royce will scan it. If you removed the virus first, Royce will be happy, but Militech is attacking the building and you have to deal with them. Outside, you will meet not Meredith, but Gilchrist.

If you don't remove the virus from the chip, Royce will detect the malware when he uses it, and you'll need to fight your way through the Maelstrom redoubts:

• Royce will appear at the end as a boss and will use a powerful powered suit.
• If you play as a corporate, regardless of gender (and possibly regardless of whether V is a corporate at all), then during the story quest "A Doll's House" or "Double Life" Meredith will write. Say you'd like to see her tattoo and she'll offer to meet you at the motel. The quest "Venus?? furs". You will sleep with Meredith, and after that she will leave the cult baton "Vstanislav Shishkin" on the bed.

There is a third option: kill Royce when he is thinking whether to take the money. If you shoot him, Meredith will appear. If you don't shoot, Gilchrist will appear. Again, you will have to break through the Malstremites or the Militekhovites.

Unfortunately, it is impossible to leave peacefully, but you yourself decide which side to take.
