Phasmophobia Guide - How to Use the Ouija Board

Before starting your next Phasmophobia session, you can buy a wide variety of items that are part of the Ghost Hunter gear. All of them are useful, including the Ouija board.

However, unlike purchasable pieces of equipment, the Ouija Board cannot be purchased at the start of a quest. Instead, you should find it right on the game location. This is unfortunate, however, not all ghosts react to this board. Let's figure out how to use this item.

The Ouija board has been around for hundreds of years. This is one of the most popular gadgets used by ghost hunters. The main goal is to establish a connection with ghosts and spirits. Players hold a pointer in their hands and ask a question, and then wait for an answer from the ghost, slowly but surely, forming words from the selected letters. In addition to the usual letters of the alphabet, there are short answers YES and NO on the board. This is great if you can ask the ghost short questions that can be answered in one of these ways.

Here's how to use the Ouija board:

  1. Find a Ouija board and set it up in a good place.
  2. Arrange the candles in a circle so that the board is visible.
  3. Ask questions through the microphone.

Here are some different questions:

  • What do you want?
  • Why are you here?
  • Do you want to hurt us?
  • Are you angry?
  • Do you want us here?
  • Shall we leave?
  • Should we leave?
